We stayed for 4 nights at the Hotel de cite Rougemont. We booked it quickly and tight on schedule on hotels.com and the deals were fair enough compared to other prices in Paris specially in August. Pretty easy to arrive from Charles de Gaulle, just take the Roissy bus and then two stops away from Opera Station. Convenient to get... More

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and booked the interconnecting rooms as a family of 4. We were very pleased with the service, check in and comfort offered. The place is ideally located to explore central Paris and has many lovely cafes and restaurants from walking distance. 15min to the Eiffel Tower, 20min to Montmartre by Metro. Highly... More

We liked everything about this hotel. Our group had three rooms: 1 triple, one double and one with adjoining rooms. The rooms were great. The location is about a 3 minute walk from the metro and the staff are awesome. What they lack they make up for; there are no fridges or ice machines, however they will put your water... More

We got a good deal for this hotel, considering the location and the average hotel rates in Paris. We were in a double room which was nicely renovated, though it was quite small and hot in the summer (no air conditioning). It’s in a very quiet street, close to Grands Boulevards metro station from which you can reach almost any... More

we were very charmed by this hotel. If you don't like chain hotels (I mean big hotels from group e.g. Accor ) you have to come here, cosy warm and helpfull staff, personal attention (what I miss in bigger hotels). Breakfast is basic but enough to go outside and live Paris life! It is in an area of a lot... More

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights (Fri-Sun). There is MAJOR construction going on in both of the neighboring hotels during the week so trying to sleep in was impossible. Consistent jack hammering on the first day of our stay until about 6pm. We would not recommend for any jet lagged travelers. We stayed in July and there... More

We booked the Rougement on our children's recommendation. While our room was small, both it & the bathroom were very clean & tidy, and the bed was very comfortable. Also the hotel is near some nice restaurants; also close to transport routes. The staff were unfailingly pleasant & helpful. Our room was on the 4th floor but luckily there's a... More

Stayed here for 1 night in June. No A/c but huge windows that opened into the courtyard. Even though the room was very small the bathroom was a decent size. Both rooms had large windows that we could open. The room was quiet other than some minor construction noise next door which may now be finished? The breakfast was a... More

The hotel was very nice, room small but tidy and confortable. The location is close from some really good spots in Paris. We had a lovely week-end and all the staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay again next time.

I would stay here again ONLY IF the rates are good for a small room without AC, a mini fridge, or coffee machine. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was nice and close to the metro.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
