We were well greeted everyday by the reception staff. Our quad room was very clean, and small but suitable for our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids under the age of 11.) The breakfast was reasonable typical continental breakfast. Mostly important we felt safe in the hotel. It was well-located by Metro Station Grands Boulevard; about 2-3 minute... more

Me and 3 of my friends(all female) stayed here in June 2008. We were college students on a budget, and I found there to be a major scarcity of affordable quad rooms in Paris. Finally I saw this little place, and you can clearly see from the website that its not very stylish or up-to-date... but it gets the job... more

Hotel Cité Rougemont is situated in a pedestrian street near of everything. 2 corners of street and you have a cinema, bakery, restos, banks, eveyrthing. About 5 minutes of walk from subway station Grands Boulevards... you could access to all the city really easely. Staff is friendly... selling excursions also... You have breakfast served every morning... really basic... 1 croissant...... more

O.k., so, we arrived into Paris Grand Boulevand station and went in search for the hotel. Basically, as you go out of the metro, there is a BURTON men's shop on the left hand side. Go down that street and turn left at the bottom. Next turn left again and it's on a private street, very nicely located. As we... more

The staff were exceptionally helpful and I believe they were doing the best with the few resources they had. Also very pleasant and courteous. Do not pay for the continental breakfast when you book you will be better off going to a bakery. Consisted only of one croissant, bun, coffee/tea, juice. That's it. This hotel is in need of a... more

A friend recommended this hotel in the centre of Paris and I must say that I was not disappointed! The rooms were well appointed and my family of 4 spent a comfortable week in the hotel. Our children were happy with the cable TV while we spent some time (window) shopping in the city close to our hotel. It would... more

Went twice ...end of year 2004 and end of year 2005 and we really loved it. We were a group of young people who wanted to explore Paris... The hotel's location is excellent with bars and restaurant open till the early hours of the morning. Breakfast could be better but if you go around the corner you can find real... more

We stayed at this hotel in May 2007. This hotel is in the best position. Walking distance to the Opera and hundreds of places to eat. The area is very quiet. The downside for us was the shower. The shower is on the end of the hose but no rods to hold it in place which meant the bathroom was... more

We just return from our trip to Europe, we had the worst experience with this hotel in Paris. We booked (also paid in advance) our room with double bed and private ensuite in our room for 5 nights stay with Holidayhouse and were told by the travelling agency that the room is reserved for us when we get there. Upon... more

We stayed a week at the Cite Rougemont and found it to be quite comfortable. It was very convenient to the Metro. Our room was adequate: 2 twin-size beds, table and chair, TV and bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower. It was always clean. Linens were a little shabby but clean. We enjoyed the staff. Very good natured, always laughing... more
