Stayed over Summer for a 2-3 day stopover so booked this place last minute, mostly because they had a last minute deal. Service was good, the room was pretty much what you would pay for a 2 star hotel. A little worried with the rickety slow lift but it did the job. Think we were in the roof area, because... More

We stayed here for our Paris getaway. The stay was very nice and the value for the room was excellent. I can't say enough about the location and convenience to everything in Paris as the Metro is 3 minute walk from the door. There is plenty of good restaurants and shopping galore in the area. The room and hotel was... More

I stayed in this hotel in a quick weekend visit to Paris for two nights. For the cheap rate it is an excellent deal: the hotel is in a very quiet street but in the center at the same time, in a busy but safe area; the metro is 3 minutes walk away; the room is small and basic (normal... More

I found this hotel using booking.com and I made a reservation around 2 months in advance. The price was very good taking in consideration the excellent location, just 5 minutes walking of the subway station, it is also possible to walk to main Paris attractions too if desired. The neighborhood is very safe, there are some supermarkets and restaurants around... More

Tucked away in a narrow avenue a street away from the Folie Bergere the Cite de Rougemont was a delight to stay at . On arrival the receptionist Julia speaks perfect English . The bedroom had 1 double and a twin bed was clean with fresh decoration . The bathroom as usual in France was small but was spotless and... More

My husband and I only had one night in Paris and so happy we decided to stay at Hotel de la cite Rougemont! It is a really great budget hotel! The location was great, and the staff went far beyond our expectations... When we pulled up at the airport ready to depart Paris, I realized I had forgotten a small... More

Nestled in a laneway inside the hustle and bustle of Paris, this little gem of a hotel is small with no frills, but quaint and comfy. The rooms are not spacious but are of a good size. It is very affordable and the service was excellent. It is close to public transportation, an organic indoor market, restaurants (i.e. Chartiers....a good... More

A great budget hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff was accommodating. The bathroom was surprisingly large and modern for a Paris hotel. Lots of affordable cafés and restaurants near the hotel. Right next to the Paris underground/metro. Excellent home base location for our trip. I would stay here again the next time I'm in Paris.

Lovely little hotel in the heart of Paris. Beside the "Grand Boulevard" Metro. We had to change rooms when we decided to stay an extra night as the triple room we were in was needed. The next room was a bit tighter but still had all the necessities. The prices were great for the location and the staff were just... More

It's not a hostel and the room is very clean, but you get what you pay for. There isn't a lot of privacy as in our room the entrance to the bathroom was about a meter from the bed. It's good for single people, but if you're travelling with someone else, make sure you're perfectly comfortable with them :) As... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
