The hotel was very nice, room small but tidy and confortable. The location is close from some really good spots in Paris. We had a lovely week-end and all the staff were helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay again next time.

I would stay here again ONLY IF the rates are good for a small room without AC, a mini fridge, or coffee machine. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was nice and close to the metro.

We stayed here for 2 nights earlier in June 2015 after a trip here a couple of years back. The hotel is relatively good value for money and a nice walk to some attractions. All of that said I found the street outside to be a lot noisier that I remember it last time, to the point it was difficult... More

Having stayed here last year I had no hesitation in returning . Another pleasant room provided a good nights sleep . Only has a shower but that suits me . A decent sized bathroom with plenty of towels ( the largest isn't really big enough but that's a minor gripe ) Reaching the hotel from the Gard du Nord is... More

My friend and I recently graduated from college and planned a Eurotrip for 2 weeks. We had 3 days in Paris and wanted a budget-friendly hotel, close to the city center, in a safe location. The Hotel de la cite Rougemont was just that! Before we even arrived, I had communicated back and forth with the hotel staff. they spoke... More

Well-decorated, very clean little hotel nearby the main attractions of Montmartre! The rooms are tiny but very nice. People working at the hotel are very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!

I recently stayed with my fiancé for a romantic break in Paris. The hotel is well positioned for the Metro which meant getting around all the main sights was quick and easy. Staff were always very polite and helpfully spoke perfect English. They gave us an excellent restaurant recommendation (Chartier) and assisted with the delivery of a package during our... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
