My partner and I stayed at this hotel end of April 2015. The hotel was actually quite pleasant until we noticed that some of the items disappeared from the room, namely a pair of sunglasses, Bose noise-cancelling earphones and an Hermes scarf. We asked the hotel whether anyone has entered our rooms in our absence and they tried to pretend... More

We spent a week at this hotel and found it to be perfectly located, steps away from great bakery, fruit and cheese stores and less than two blocks away from a couple of metro stations. Staff was polite and helpful and everything immaculately clean. In spite of being near very busy streets it was extremely quiet which together with the... More

This hotel is wonderful if you are looking for a comfortable, clean place to stay with a PERFECT location. When we arrived, we asked for a room with a view of the center court, high up. We were given a room on the second floor with a view of the roof of some building. We went back down and asked... More

Nice, clean and quiet hotel. Good location next to Vavin metro station and also a walking distance from the CDG airport train (Denfert-Rochereau -station on blue RER line). Price was reasonable (didn't buy the breakfast but had in the restaurants nearby, there were many). The street was quiet but had a grocery store and also stores for wine/cheese. The Korean... More

The only reason I didn´t give that hotel 5/5, is because some of its staff members are very unfriendly. I must emphasize that not all of them, though. Besides, the location is, in my opinion, perfect: A tranquile street but right next to several metro, bus and RER stations. 5 min walking distance from Luxemburg Gardens. A lot of good... More

Booked and paid for a double room and specifically requested a double bed. On arrival found the room to have two single beds pushed together. We returned to reception to request a room change – rather than an apology and quick resolution, we were subjected to questioning by a rude receptionist (Ms Shupikai) as to whether we had sat on... My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights in late August when passing through Paris. The rooms are small but neatly appointed and clean. Being situated in a courtyard well back from the road it was very peaceful, and sitting in the courtyard for a glass of wine was very pleasant indeed. The thing that really sold... More

We stayed here with a tour group for three nights. Our room had a queen bed on the third floor, overlooking the courtyard at the entrance of the hotel. We didn't have a lot of space but it did have a desk, a bathroom and a separate toilet. Towel warming rail in the bathroom was helpful for drying washing. Water... More

First, one of the elevators was out of order the ten days we spent there. There is a charge beyond the two towels they dole out each day. The room was cramped, and a storage cabinet made it even smaller. It was difficult to get toilet paper. The hotel had few amenities to speak of.

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
