We just returned from a 4 day 3 night stay at this hotel and we loved every minute of it! The hotel was exactly what we were looking for. Our confirmation email said we couldnt check in until 2pm, we had an early morning flight and were in Paris by 9am, we just went straight to the hotel in hope... More

EXCELLENT neighborhood, friendly staff, clean room, modern look and recently updated! Shower is great with a rain-head and separate handheld. Rooms are a bit small (to be expected), but only two outlets in our room - one of them was in the hairdryer. Overall a fantastic stay! Check out Google maps for a street-view like interior tour!

Positives 1/ Fantastic location. 1 1/2 blocks from Saint Germain and Odeon Metro stop. Around the corner from Saint Sulpice. Easy, quick walk to great restaurants and shopping. 2/ Updated bathroom 3/ Clean room, albeit small Negatives 1/ Reception staff are only on on property and available from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. so you need to pre-order taxis and... We had a wonderful experience at Villa des Princes during our two-day, one-night visit to Paris! We took an early Thalys train from Amsterdam and arrived in Paris at 10am (via metro to the Odeon station), and were able to check into our room right away! Yes, the rooms are very small, but they are efficiently and thoughtfully laid out.... More

This hotel is in a great location, lots of eating places in the area, walk to the Notre Dame, in the St Germain area which is lovely. The rooms are very very small, make sure you do not have too many bags. Windows open out which is nice, lift is very very small, one person and a bag only but... More

First of all, hotel is just perfectly located. It is just 1 min. walk to Odeon metro. Both the hotel itself and the rooms are very nicely decorated. Modern and beautiful. I have shared some photos as well.. It is not always possible to have such standard in 2* hotels. Like in many of the hotels in Paris, rooms are... More

We stayed here for 4 nights (19 to 23 April 2014). It was a basic simple budget hotel with a modern touch. Although room was small, it was sufficient for two of us to slot in our luggage, little walking space but this is Paris (hotel rooms are generally small). Nice guy receptionist e.g Bill, yaya. Hotel was located walking... More

The location is very good, a short walk to the metro station and Seine River. The lift is so small only one person can fit with a small bag; the rooms are also very small. Overall A good hotel to sleep in the area but not a place to spend time in the room although the reception of the hotel... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa des Princes. A very clean, quiet and comfortable stay in Paris...not to mention a fabulous and accessible location. We would recommend this small boutique hotel and would definitely revisit.

For four nights over New Year, I was most impressed with this modern, well decorated and perfectly located hotel. It was easy to find, a few yards up the road from Odéon metro station, and surrounded by pleasant Parisian streets with more restaurants and cafés than you can poke a stick at. I felt very safe both in the day... More

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
