We stayed here 2 years ago with our 2 eldest children (16 and 15 at the time) I did review it then and obviously thought it was good enough to stay at again, this time with our younger children (15yr and 12yrs). I expected the same room but got room 74 this time. I don't remember the room number from... More

I visited Paris with my sister and cousins in May 2015. Sorry to say, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. The bathroom was dirty. The room was stinky. The pipe lines were leaking. The lifts weren't working. Breakfast was average. The only good thing about this hotel is it's location. Literally, a minute away from the station Gare... More

This is the second time we've stayed at Amiot - it is reasonably priced and better than several of the cheap hotels in the Gare de Nord area. We find it very convenient when we are travelling by Eurostar. Comfortable beds and a decent sized quadruple room on the top floor.

I travel to Paris regularly and have stayed in many 2 and 3 stars hotels and this is the only one that don't have a hairdryer!!! The good thing is, it is close to all amenities so I went to the shops to buy one. The room we stayed in was clean but facilities are a bit dated and could... More

What's wrong with this hotel? Everything! You name it, they have it: - stained linen - dirty floor - leaking pipes - bad smell in the toilet - bugs in the shower! But that's not all! Do you want to wash your hair and then dry it? Well, you better pack your own hairdryer because they have only 15 available.... More

We stayed here for 3 days. The best thing about the hotel is its location. Its right outside the Gare de'l Est metro station (take exit no. 6). If you are an Indian and would want some 'desi style ka khana' there are very good restaurants in and around the area (5-10 mins walking). From here, you will be able... More

The room is small just right for a couple. The toilet is very old and looks renovated but still the finishes and the tiles are not that brand new looking. The elevator is also old and my wife preferred to take the stairs instead. It has a small window but facing a blank wall of the adjacent building. I would... More

We chose hotel, for one and only one reason, LOCATION. It fully lived up to it. Hotel per se was very ordinary. Breakfast which was part of the deal was worst we had ever eaten. But price was decent from Paris standards and hotel was not even 100 meters from Gard Du Est. Plenty of eating options around.

We stayed here but, whilst the location was excellent, the rooms were small and rather shoddy. Unfortunately we had property stolen from our locked room When this was reported to staff they refused to check CCTV and we were directed to the nearest Police station which was closed and had been for a few weeks! We made our way to... More

The place is clean, rooms are fine, price is very good, location is excellent a metro station just few steps from the hotel, staff is good, showers are bigger than the average european size, for the price the value is 5stars, is not fancy nor a bit luxurious but it is definetly one of the bests in its league.
