Amiot is not for suburban moms and others who expect corporate safe hygienic blandness. Some would say Amiot has character, others would say its just old. I say it is old, showing its 111 years of age and not charming. But the location 100 meters from Gare de l'Est, can't be beaten and it is functional and clean. Every room... More

Staff is very friendly, most of them speak English and/or Spanish. People at cafeteria kind of rude. Wi-Fi and elevator on and off constantly. Rooms clean and great view. Very good located. Metro is just feet away.

Our stay in Paris was not less than amazing. Having stayed in more than 2 hotels over 9 days in spring 2015 AMIOT was not at all upto any standards. It is cheap for a reason. Not clean. No service. Rooms are too dark and gloomy. To sum it up, please give it a miss and look for something better.... More

My needs were only a place to sleep. The price was alright. Breakfast was included which was simple but appreciated. Could the hotel have been better? Yes. It isn't nice to look at, the style is dated so it would benefit from a big revamp. You could tell the linen was well used... And the bathroom needed some care. It... More

We stayed here 2 years ago with our 2 eldest children (16 and 15 at the time) I did review it then and obviously thought it was good enough to stay at again, this time with our younger children (15yr and 12yrs). I expected the same room but got room 74 this time. I don't remember the room number from... More

I visited Paris with my sister and cousins in May 2015. Sorry to say, I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. The bathroom was dirty. The room was stinky. The pipe lines were leaking. The lifts weren't working. Breakfast was average. The only good thing about this hotel is it's location. Literally, a minute away from the station Gare... More

This is the second time we've stayed at Amiot - it is reasonably priced and better than several of the cheap hotels in the Gare de Nord area. We find it very convenient when we are travelling by Eurostar. Comfortable beds and a decent sized quadruple room on the top floor.

I travel to Paris regularly and have stayed in many 2 and 3 stars hotels and this is the only one that don't have a hairdryer!!! The good thing is, it is close to all amenities so I went to the shops to buy one. The room we stayed in was clean but facilities are a bit dated and could... More

What's wrong with this hotel? Everything! You name it, they have it: - stained linen - dirty floor - leaking pipes - bad smell in the toilet - bugs in the shower! But that's not all! Do you want to wash your hair and then dry it? Well, you better pack your own hairdryer because they have only 15 available.... More

We stayed here for 3 days. The best thing about the hotel is its location. Its right outside the Gare de'l Est metro station (take exit no. 6). If you are an Indian and would want some 'desi style ka khana' there are very good restaurants in and around the area (5-10 mins walking). From here, you will be able... More
