Place is a hole, stayed here for 2 days 09/2014. They DO NOT HAVE FREE PARKING (which is advertised) nor any parking at all, closest car park 10 minutes walk 31EUR - 24 hours. Shover does not work, wifi only in reception, sockets are broken, matrices are as if you would sleep on the floor, no room service nor cleaning,... More

The hotel itself is ok. Rooms are good, bed is good, shower rooms are ok. The neighborhood is good as well. Located very near the metro station at Leon Blum square, walking distance of Bastille and Pere Lachaise cemetery. Wifi is only accessible at the reception area, but at least they have it. The only reason I give this poor... More

I don't know where to even begin. Having to stay in Paris for 7 nights on a budget we had a limited choice to stay at this 'hotel' besides the location this place has nothing else going for it. The staff are extremely disrespectful and inefficient. Our room was not clean even once. Wi fi never worked. We had to... More

To start off the location was lovely. Not close to anything touristy but very close to several metro stations, lovely restaurants & a beautiful fountain park area. This hostel was pretty secure. Rooms double locked and access code needed after midnight. Other guests were inoffensive and friendly. Now that all the good points are out the way. Oh my god... More

Has a backpacker this Hotel is "good", because it's simple, wasn't expensive, it's on a good location and seemed clean. But the huge problem is that you really can't sleep in there! Unfortunately I stayed in the room above the reception and if I slept 3h that night was a lot. Each time someone entered and slammed the door, the... More

There's a lot of negative reviews here, but for price and location you cannot beat it. And you barely spend any time there as you're in Paris! The rooms are fine, and the staff are lovely! I will definitely be returning!

I stayed in Hotel Richard alone for 3 nights in Paris, and I can honestly say I would rather have camped in a field. Upon my arrival I waited approximately 20 minutes to speak to the man at reception, while he chatted with a friend. I wasn't even greeted with so much as eye contact, and even after I introduced... Me and my friend stayed here and our room was just beside the reception area so some guests thought that our room was still part of the reception. Some people knocked our window to open the door for them. Me and my friend need to turn off the light at night so guests who (probably forgot they're keys) wants to... More

Good for what we paid for, but whilst we were there we had a psychopath at the hotel that set the fire alarms off twice and we stayed 4 nights. Also we got placed in the very next room to this psycho and apparently they live there. They screamed from 11-2 in the morning and they'd throw stuff around and... More

The hotel is good and really close to center and metro station and there are lots of places to sit and chill or eat nearby. But, in our last night we did not lock the door and somehow someone stole all of our stuff. We are sure that someone inside (either a customer or someone who works there) from the... More
