When we looked for hotels and read recommendations almost everyone had commented that the rooms were so very small in all hotels. However, when we got to the hotel and saw the room we were positively surprised. It was well enough for two persons and with a good location to that it was easy to go where ever you like.... More

Hotel is under rennovation, new rooms are avaliable. Nice and clean small room. Elevator is tiny. Breakfast is a baget, butter, croissant, coffee, yoghurt, jam, juice and cheese for 8 euro. Location is very good. Nice personnell. They had a problem with taking money of my card, tereore, they cancelled my booking on the day of arrival. Luckily the room... More

I hate to give negative reviews but our room was disgusting. The place stunk of mold (there was fabric wallpaper), the ceiling was peeling, the carpets were stained, the tub had mold and there was a hole in the bathroom wall. The staff, however, was lovely and i wish I could write a better review. The location is good, a... More

I stayed in this hotel for one night, the location is good but since I have been to Paris many times, and I know the area very well. I booked a single room for 69 euros per night. Not cheap and I managed to find another 4 star hotel for 99euros the next day (from last minute.com), i didn't hesitate... More

Plus point first as always - the hotel has a lovely staff team who go out of their way to help you BUT, and it's a big but, the hotel urgently needs money spent on it to bring it up to acceptable standards. My husband and I stayed here just before Xmas when we could not get into our usual... More

This was a cute, small, affordable hotel for my first stay in Paris. The room was small, but I was only using it for showering and sleeping. There was no air conditioning, which would have been nice after some of my longer days, but again I was in Paris so didn't care. It was in easy walking distance of 2... More

My room was quite shabby, if clean. The window opened onto a teeny courtyard which three other rooms also fronted. No A/C on one of the hottest days of the year and my room on the first (of about ten) floor got no breeze whatsoever. And all that for 60 euros a night! Of course, unbeknownst to me, I was... More

Stayed there for 3 days in May 2011, in a triple room. There was a double and a single bed, as next to the single one there was a small wall, which was quite nice, giving some privacy for the third person. The location is just amazing, 15-20 minutes walk and we were next to the Louvre. The neighborhood is... More

This hotel was perfect for myself and my partner for a quick weekend trip to Paris. The room was small but comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. We stayed for two nights which it was great for, as we hardly spent any time at the hotel, as we were out exploring Paris. I would definitely stay here again as... More

This hotel is surrounded by supermarkets, cafes, theatres (like The Rex) and wholesale shops! Adding on, the nearest metro, Bonne Nouvelle makes travelling to city centre and major attractions a breeze! The counter staff are friendly and always helpful! I am astounded when one of the staff (a lady) accompanied us to the door while we waited for the airport... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
