Very noisy. Noisy lift being used long into the night. Noisy guests until 3am. Wafer thin walls meant we did not sleep much. Hotel was undergoing improvements when we stayed but this did not effect us. Would like to see it when it is finished (if they get a new lift!). Free wifi but not very strong - I had... More

l could not connect wifi in my room. it was so noisy and l could not sleep because of the other visitors. Employee ,who works at night, was not helpful and also rude. The room was not clean but bathroom was clean. The room was so small but it was not a problem for us. Hotel is near to restaurants... More

Please note that most of this review is only likely to be accurate for the period until the hotel finishes renovation, which it is currently undergoing. When we arrived at the hotel, we could see it was clearly under renovation. We were told we were to be given an unrenovated room for one night before moving to a renovated room... More

When we looked for hotels and read recommendations almost everyone had commented that the rooms were so very small in all hotels. However, when we got to the hotel and saw the room we were positively surprised. It was well enough for two persons and with a good location to that it was easy to go where ever you like.... More

Hotel is under rennovation, new rooms are avaliable. Nice and clean small room. Elevator is tiny. Breakfast is a baget, butter, croissant, coffee, yoghurt, jam, juice and cheese for 8 euro. Location is very good. Nice personnell. They had a problem with taking money of my card, tereore, they cancelled my booking on the day of arrival. Luckily the room... More

I hate to give negative reviews but our room was disgusting. The place stunk of mold (there was fabric wallpaper), the ceiling was peeling, the carpets were stained, the tub had mold and there was a hole in the bathroom wall. The staff, however, was lovely and i wish I could write a better review. The location is good, a... More

I stayed in this hotel for one night, the location is good but since I have been to Paris many times, and I know the area very well. I booked a single room for 69 euros per night. Not cheap and I managed to find another 4 star hotel for 99euros the next day (from last minute.com), i didn't hesitate... More

Plus point first as always - the hotel has a lovely staff team who go out of their way to help you BUT, and it's a big but, the hotel urgently needs money spent on it to bring it up to acceptable standards. My husband and I stayed here just before Xmas when we could not get into our usual... More

This was a cute, small, affordable hotel for my first stay in Paris. The room was small, but I was only using it for showering and sleeping. There was no air conditioning, which would have been nice after some of my longer days, but again I was in Paris so didn't care. It was in easy walking distance of 2... More

My room was quite shabby, if clean. The window opened onto a teeny courtyard which three other rooms also fronted. No A/C on one of the hottest days of the year and my room on the first (of about ten) floor got no breeze whatsoever. And all that for 60 euros a night! Of course, unbeknownst to me, I was... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
