My fiancee and I traveled to Paris for a quick Valentine's Day weekend together, and could not have been happier with our hotel choice. Just off bustling Rue Cler, the location was a huge selling point for us. Hotel du Champ de Mars is positioned right in between the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides, and is less than a 10... More

This is our second stay at the Hotel du Champs de Mars because we love it! The location is superior ~ a few steps away from rue Cler which is filled with marvelous little shops, eateries, etc. Some of Zagat's finest restaurants are also within a few walking blocks from the hotel ~ Christian Constant has several on rue Saint-Dominique;... My daughter and I stayed at this wonderful little hotel for 3 nights. We truly enjoyed it. The staff was amazing and so was the breakfast. Our room was small, clean and cozy. The only down fall was no AC, but there was a fan and you could open the window. The location is fabulous, 10 min walk to the... More

We found Hotel du Champ de Mars through TA, and whilst my initial communication with them was slow & a bit unnerving, it was a FANTASTIC little hotel almost hidden out of the way. Yes, the rooms are small, but they are clean & comfortable which is the main thing. The front desk staff were very pleasant & happy to... More

We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel, at the beginning and at the end of our trip. It's not easy to find affordable hotels in Paris and I think this is a good choice if you don't want to spend too much money. It's a basic hotel, very close to a nice area of restaurants and shops and about... More

I have stayed at Hotel Champ de Mars for the last three years while in Paris promoting the children's summer camp that I co-own with my brothers. It is a very cute hotel with rooms that may be small but are beautiful and funcional. The staff could not be more helpful, and friendly. The owners Françoise and Stéphane make you... More

We are from HK and lived at X'mas time. We would like to express our thanks to one bright staff, SLYN who did help us a lot during the stay. The room are cosy and nice. Clean bedsheet and tidy bathroom. We did have a good time here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming, quaint, hotel. Petite hotel, but beautifully decorated. The owners, and their Cocker Spaniel, Cannelle, made us feel very welcome, as did the other hotel staff. The hotel, which was built in 1859, before the Eiffel Tower was constructed, is in the Eiffel Tower neighborhood -- lots of cafes, grocery stores, restaurants --... More

This hotel is a lovely, quaint lodging with bi-lingual owners and desk help. The location is wonderful, for example, an easy fifteen minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and close to the Metro. Many lovely shops, restaurants and grocery stories right around the corner. The room are smaller but nice. Beds are excellent. In light of Paris prices, Champ de... More

Stephanie and Francoise were wonderful hosts and made us feel welcome during our 2 week stay with them. Our room was decorated well and the cleaning staff was super. It is an easy place to travel to and from with the Metro stop nearby. Breakfast for 8 euro was filling and served in a quaint dining room downstairs or it... More

Neighborhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
