We stayed here for a couple of nights in June. My husband was a little baffled by the key fob on the "heaviest keyring in the world." I figured it right out. Like all the other hotels we stayed at in Europe, the bath is small, but it is there. It was nice and clean and there was a small... More

We were delighted to return! Our second visit was as enjoyable as our first. Just a short walk through a lovely residential neighbourhood to the Champ de Mars and the Eiffel Tower. Ideal location - close to shops, restaurants, markets, city bus routes and Metro stops. Very comfortable room, beautifully decorated. Helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. Reasonably priced.

During multiple previous stays in Paris, I've always stayed in either the 1st or 5th arrondissements. This time I decided I wanted to stay near Champs de Mars and ended up loving the area. Hotel du Champs de Mars met my needs well and I would certainly consider staying again. Yes, I experienced a couple of quirks (which I'll get... More

No A/C. Was miserable our first night, so avoid in summer. The room was so small I could be lying in bed and still be in the way of my wife trying to get ready. Shower is small even for Paris (18"x18", barely wider than my shoulders). Interior of room is old and frumpy. There are two outlets in the... More

This is a charming hotel in the Rue Cler area within walking distance of many popular attractions. There are many cafes, bistros, and shops nearby as well as a metro stop. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated but very small and the sink in the bathroom is so tiny it is hard to wash up without getting water all... More

My mother and I stayed here recently in room 45 with a view of the Eiffel Tower. No AC but fans are provided if you ask. Windows block out all street noise so easy to sleep with all the outside action. Great location, close to tour bus stops. Highly recommend.

As two professional women traveling together, we could have chosen any place in Paris. We chose the Hotel Champ du Mars in the Rue Cler neighborhood looking for a quaint place to be locals for a week. When we arrived, the hotel had one of our reservations, but admitted they had LOST the other. Both reservations were made in January... More

If you have traveled in Europe, you have probably come to expect small rooms. This was no different. However, the staff is especially nice and helpful. I actually prefer a smaller hotel with character and a helpful staff to a larger hotel that has more room but less ambience. Take your pick!

This hotel is amazing!!! I've been here twice and will go back to this hotel every time I'm in Paris. The neighborhood is tourist friendly. Great places to eat. Close to the Eiffel Tower and Metro. I miss it already! The first time I went, I traveled alone and always felt very safe.

We stayed at this charming and very well located hotel for 3 nights. The room was not so big, but it was nice. Our windows was against the street, but there were no traffic so no disturbancies at all. Close to the hotel we had a bistro and a restaurant very convinient if you don't want to sit at the... More

Staying in Tour Eiffel / Invalides

Neighborhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
