We got this hotel from a Rick Steeves guide book and were very pleased with it. Smallish room but that is Paris! Great location near the Eiffel tower. The Rue Cler area is a popular spot with lots of restaurants . Only drawback is that it is hard to get a room!

This hotel is close to the Ecole Militaire Metro station. It was super convenient and right around the corner from the Rue Cler shopping are and restaurants. The rooms are small but well kept and an excellent value for the area.

We just love this intimate hotel. It is beautifully maintained and very attractive. The price is amazing for the quality and location. It is located just steps from a walking street that is known for it's variety of shops offering all manner of culinary treats. It is also within easy walking distance of the Eiffel Tower, the Champs Elysees, etc.... More

This week we just finished a 15-night stay at the Hotel du Champ de Mars -- our second time to stay at this wonderful, small hotel. The hotel and staff were perfect. The hotel itself, with around 25 rooms, is quiet, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and meticulously maintained. It's one of the cleanest hotels we've ever visited. On both of our... More

We had a bit of an issue with the booking, as in the money was paid but they had no reservation for us. Be sure to call after booking and confirm your reservation. I ended up having to call my bank, who confirmed that they were who the money went to, but the hotel still told me that they don't... More

A coworker recommended this hotel to me and it's the best hotel recommendation I've ever received. When making my reservations, I requested early check in because we were arriving around noon. The hotel was very accommodating. Our room was ready but even if it was not ready, they would have held our luggage for us so we could see the... More

We returned for our second visit to this hotel, and we were delighted anew with the perfect location, the efficient and well-appointed rooms, and the kind services of all the people who man the desk. The owners are quiet, but lovely, and Najib and Nadir were especially charming and helpful. I cannot praise the proximity to the Rue de Cler... More

Lovely quiet hotel in a bustling residential area. The nearby rue Cler is lined with cheese shops, butchers, boulangeries, so you can shop like a local and enjoy a typical Sunday street market full of fabulous produce. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants around the hotel which despite being in the centre of a residential neighbourhood was incredibly quiet.... More

For many years we have been visiting Paris several times a year and about ten years we discovered this charming hotel. Although difficult to book since it has become well known through an American author's travel guide it is fortunately not filled with tour groups. The top floor front rooms afford a tiny peek of the Eiffel Tower and are... More

As a single, senior woman traveler, Hotel du Champ de Mars made my five night stay in Paris very happy. The rooms are beautifully decorated, spotless, breakfast was great, and staff friendly and helpful. It's right off Rue Cler--the epitome of a Paris pedestrian street willed with flowers and small shops-- and a 15 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower... More

Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
