The hotel is located in a neat area; our room was tiny, and the bathroom hardly larger than a linen closet. But we didn't go to Paris to stay in a hotel room, so we didn't mind. The service was good; the wifi worked; the fixtures in the bathroom were very modern.

Excellent location and friendly staff. Yes the elevator is tiny but we just walked up the steps no problem. Our room was huge! two huge windows overlooking the street. One large bed and two smaller with a leather bench for bags etc. The Nespresso machine was a great bonus (I bought one when I came home I liked it so... More

Our room on the second floor overlooking the street made us feel as if we were part of the neighborhood. The room was small but comfortable and the staff was very helpful. What a wonderful Paris experience in a great neighborhood about 1/2 mile from the Eiffel Tower. Lots of little shops and restaurants to experience. My wife and I... More

The hotel champ de Mars was in a perfect location, in quaint cobbled street, surrounded by local life, cafes, fruit, and bread shops. A short walk to the seine, so for all couples looking for bustling, yet relaxing break book this hotel is is exactly as written on the website. Friendly pleasant, clean and welcoming - boo for no kettle... More

The hotel is in a wonderful location - on a street with several bistros, grocery shopping - and close to the Eiffel Tower. Convenient to the sites of Paris. It was clean, staff pleasant, and my room comfortable. Bathrooms are modern. It had wi-fi but their computer was broken when I went.

Lovely little hotel very well situated - 10 min walk to Tour Eiffel, 20 min walk to Champs Elysees, 30 min walk to Louvres, close to popular St-Germain-des-Prés area... Although a little worn, the decor is charming. The rooms are quiet (#12 and #14) - did not hear street noises, only our neighbours when they came back a little drunk... More

This was a great place to stay! So very central to a lot of sights, easy access to several metro stops and routes, lots of affordable and friendly restaurants/bakeries on the same street, laundromat close and easy! The staff were very friendly, helpful and had very good English. Felt like a safe area too. The rooms of course were small... More

Stayed at the Hotel du Champ de Mars for six nights leading up to and after New Years in Paris. First, location is great. Right off the Rue Cler, there is plenty of local markets and food, plus a Poste and ATMs readily available. Wifi is on each floor (although no router specifically for Floor 5) and strength is fairly... More

The Hotel du Champ de Mars is a delightful small hotel with one of the best locations in Paris. While rooms are small, they are both lovely and absolutely immaculate. Continental breakfasts (which are at an additional cost) are outstanding and can be delivered to your room. The one down side is that the hotel has no bar or gathering... More

Stayed here with two kids for the Christmas holiday. It is a classic old European hotel with small rooms and narrow corridors, but it was great. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. They gave us two adjacent (not adjoining) rooms. The Rue Cler neighborhood was classic Paris, with a couple of cafes/brasseries in the center and several different... More
