I stayed one night for a business trip in this charming, boutique hotel. The location is fab: just 2 min walking distance from Madeleine and Fauchon. The hotel feels small and personal, staff was very friendly( felt very untypical Parisian ;)). The hotel is very tastefully decorated, the rooms as well. I especially loved the big bathroom made fully from... More

Hotel de Seze was perfect for a Paris weekend of shopping and dining. Facilities were great as were the staff. We chose this hotel as the location was very good - close to the shopping but also close to main galleries. No complaints and have rebooked for next trip. Staff were very friendly and on hand to help with any... More

I stayed in this hotel for 7 days. My room was ready for early check-in (11am). Location was amazing with an easy access to all major sightseeings and shopping destinations. Madeleine metro station that was only 3 mins away was very useful. Hotel room was clean and modern. With a big tv screen, Nespresso machine and a kettle. Complementary Evian... More

We spent four wonderful nights here. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. They also speak very good English. The hotel is clean and modern. It feels luxurious but is not over-the-top. We booked the second level room (not the cheapest, but the step up), and it was very nice but not amazing. Wonderful rain shower, which was my favorite... More

I was very impressed by Hotel de Sèze in Paris - tucked away 100m from the Place de la Madeleine, it has an ideal location for business people, shoppers and the culturally interested, especially as the M14 line takes you in less than 10 minutes from Gare de Lyon to the hotel with only 2 stops in between. My wife... More

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed! It is a small boutique hotel, quite expensive but not compared to other hotels nearby. Location is great, nearest metro station (Madeline) is just around the corner. Lot of shops and museums within walking distance. Staff is really helpful and friendly and they speak good english. Room was clean... More

Very good small hotel in the middle of Paris. Walking distance to major department stores and major museums (musée de l´Orangerie, musée d´Orsay, musée du Louvre). Nearest metro station close. The service was very good, staff was helpful and friendly. I also enjoyed the breakfast. Room was clean and there was a safe. Bed was firm - someone would perhaps... More

After many trips to Paris, we have finally found the perfect place to stay! The reception staff were all very friendly and helpful - special thanks to Leo who lifted our flagging spirits after our Eurostar experience. Our room was absolutely beautifully decorated and clean with every mod-con and windows that opened out to the street view below. Our room... More

Excellent stylish bathroom with quality Clarin's products. Room newly decorated but without sufficient closet space.Persistent sewer odor for 3 days out of ten. Problem never resolved. Friendly And highly processional staff. Excellent location a cross from Pinacotheque, Faucbhon and La Madeleine church.

Dear FPWhitePlains, Thank you very much for taking your time writing a review on Tripadvisor. We appreciate your kind remarks on the service given by our staff and are happy that you have enjoyed our great location and Clarins' products. We indeed faced a canalization problem at the hotel, which has been resolved by our technician as speaking. We hope... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
