“Our go-to hotel in Paris” We just had our fourth stay at the Hotel d'Argenson in less than two years(!) It's in the 8th arrondissement, two blocks from the Metro; a short walk (< 1 km) from the lovely Parc Monceau (immortalized by Monet - try Google images), la Madeleine, the Champs-Elysées, and the Gare St-Lazare; and it's only a... We enjoyed our stay! Decent , clean and Basic and value for money. We are not looking for luxury as we were out most of the time walking/shopping around and sitting in the cafe! We went for the corner room on the 2nd floor (with discount as it is a smaller room. It came with a little balcony overlooking the... More

I stayed here for a night and paid 176 euros. I was in room 43. I had trouble with the sleep. The room is not sound proof and anyone walking or even the people in the adjacent room talking was so much audible. The decor certainly needs an uplift. The room looked so dated but the room was clean. Breakfast... More

We stayed for 4 nights in this family run hotel. We received extremely friendly and helpful service, our breakfasts were served in our room at a time to suit us and were delicious. The room was fine, very clean, but the shower room was a little on the small side, although, perfectly adequate for our needs. The bed was very... More

All the usual caveats apply; small room, tiny bathroom, but overall this was a pleasant experience. Not cheap, but not outrageous. Small but welcome breakfast served in your room. Nice neighbourhood, and two mins walk from the metro. Would happily go back.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in room 12 in September. The hotel is very well located barely 5 mins to the nearest metro station and is small but perfectly formed. It is family run and in an old parisian building meaning many of the rooms are fairly large ( by Paris standards ) and decorated in old... More
