Hotel Amenities: Cream on the outside, clean on the inside. The lobby is modern and the staff were quite helpful and patient. They speak about 5 different languages including English and Spanish. The hotel does not offer money exchange. The work out room was not really useful. There was a hot tub in the room and a treadmill that did... More

This hotel is very contemporary. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Other than not having wash clothes, it was well supplied. We stayed on the 1st floor and it was quiet. The breakfast room was clean and offered a nice breakfast consisting of eggs bacon cereals fruit yoguart pastries meats tea coffee and juices. It is located near the opera... More

We travelled as a family and had booked 4 business rooms on the grond Floor, next to the reception, all next to one another. We were afraid that there would be noise from the reception or the traffic outside, but that was not the case, the rooms are very well insulated. The business rooms are not extremely big, but all... Staff are very helpful and nice; rooms are of reasonable size and quiet, though not much daylight due to rear street location. Facilities incl. sauna and swimming pools are very nice. The price during the airshow is high in general, so Euro400 per night is not very unreasonable. Book early can save Euro 100.

I visited the Lyric Hotel on Thursday 23rd April til Saturday 25th April. I went for an anniversary trip and chose this hotel after finding it on trip adviser. I booked directly with the hotel as it worked out slightly cheaper. We took the Eurostar and after arriving in Paris we walked for around 20minutes to the hotel. It wasn't... More

My daughter and I spent 6 nights at the Lyric. The location was very convenient to walk to the Louvre and the D'Orsay museums. Just 10-15 minutes to walk. Plus it was near the Galleries Layfette. We were surprised to find that the hotel was in the middle of a Little Tokyo section of Paris. That wasn't a problem, just... More

The positives: Stayed two nights in May after stops in 3 other countries prior to our return to the U.S. As others have mentioned, the location is great, the hotel is very modern and the rooms are clean and well appointed. We had a very nice corner suite on an upper floor. Great view and very quiet. The reception staff... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
