This hotel was amazing. I stayed on the 3rd floor in an Executive Room. The room decor is beautiful and very modern and clean. It's within walking distance of restaurants, shopping, the Opera Garnier, the Eiffel Tower (2.5 miles) and the Louvre (less than a mile). I will definitely stay here again when I return to Paris. <3

We had a wonderful stay at the Lyric Hotel in Paris. We were in the furthest room back on the first floor and thought it was pretty quiet. The rooms were a decent size and the facilities were clean and charming. The staff was very nice and helpful with questions in the evenings. My wife and I also enjoyed a... More

Enjoyed the suite for a couple of nights and it is spacious, the air conditioning is great, the bathrooms are NOT European size (yes, a real shower!!!). Decoration is artsy (my daughter loved the set up), wifi is great, you are 15 minutes walking distance to the Louvres and the Seine, 30 to Les Champs Elysees and maybe 45 to... More

I was here on a weekend break to Paris. Lovely hotel near the Opera, with lots of shops and restaurants at walking distance. Very comfy bed and clean room - loved the espresso coffee machine and art-inspired theme for the room. Great walk-in shower. Breakfast was very good and varied - the little pastries were very good. Unlike many hotels,... More

Wonderful 4 star hotel located in the middle of all the sights! I was able to get a web special that made the price equal to a 2 star hotel and included breakfast! Room is spacious, eclectically decorated and bathroom is amazing. Another terrific feature is that this hotel has serious air conditioning which was a huge relief in the... More

Found a great deal for this hotel for a long weekend in August. Very reasonable price for a hotel in the center of Paris. Easy walk to the Louvre and many other Paris sights. The rooms were quite small, but fine for a few days. Very modern rooms with a coffee and tea machine, which was a plus. We found... More

This is a lovely boutique hotel close to the Palais Garnier opera house. The standard rooms are small, but that is to be expected in Europe. They use the space well in the bathroom. Ours had a new, modern & nice sized shower. There was no view, but we didn't spend much time in our room so that didn't bother... More

Located in the Opera, the Lyric is a small boutique hotel with a lot of character. What they lack with room size, they more than make up for it with efficient service and overall cleanliness. The front staff spoke excellent English and was very tolerant with my dilapidated French... Breakfast is a small buffet served in the basement. Space felt... More

I booked the hotel as it was relatively central and had a pool which when travelling with a 12 year old is invaluable. The staff were very professional and helpful, the breakfast was good and the location is great, near a Japanese quarter, with lots of other food options around and near a good metro line for a lot of... Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
