First time in Paris and really enjoyed staying in this hotel , when i arrived there i found it a great hotel with clean room and clean bathroom and great location (the metro station is right across the street ) and that's what i wanted from a hotel as you only return to the hotel for sleep at night ,... Perhaps one of the best budget hotels I have ever stayed in when in Paris. The location is fantastic: just across the road from Moulin Rouge, two steps distance from Place Pigalle, and the Old cemetery of Monmartre (which is the great sight on its own). Service is perhaps the friendliest, especially at the reception. The regulations are very liberal,... More

From start I have to say, that france breakfasts are terrible in general (coffee, tea and croissant nothing more!), but big plus for this hotel that we got bread, butter, cheese, ham. Room was standard but smoky. Bathroom average, some oldiness in it and in whole hotel, but not bad at all. BIG plus is its location. Right across the... More

Eurotel is a small hotel situated right across the Moulin Rouge. If you look for a clean place to sleep in Paris it could be a good option. First i thought that it was a noisy location but after the first night i saw that everything is ok. In the week we visited Paris, there was the St. Patrick Celebration... More

Not very sophisticated, but excellent in terms of location. It's placed exactly towards Moulin Rouge. Staying there, you feel like being a part of Paris night life turmoil. Asking for my booked room, the reception lady recommended the one with a beautiful view of Moulin Rouge, saying: "Ça tourne devant la fenêtre" .... and let me tell you, it does... More

Considering that Moulin Rouge is right across the street, the location is excellent, especialy that it's located in Monmartre disctrict, our favorite. The rooms are not looking so good, so the furniture, but the bathroom was clean and spacious. The noise it was a real problem, because, mostly in weekends people are parting, so...they manage to do a lot of... More

I had a small garret room facing the street. The view of the Moulin Rouge was great but, as you can imagine, sleeping was not. Noisy into the wee hours of the morning. The room was clean, the floor bare, so no nasty carpet here. The tub/shower had no curtain--always a challenge. The color scheme was depressing with mis-matched curtains... More

we had booked into the opera hotel and when we got there were moved to the hotel eurotel with no explination. The staff were nice, breakfast was fine but the room was horrible. The carpet was so worn and dirty I had to jump from the toilet on to the bed so my bare feet didn't touch it - but... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
