I had a 2 night stay in residence Albert. The reception was friendly but checking time was only at 16h. For me this is really late and forcing to go into Paris without being able to fresh up after the long trip. The rooms where renovated: double glassed windows and fake wooden floors. The big problem with the hotel is... more

Location: It's 15mins walk from Ch Rouge station. Not a very pleasant walk as the neighbourhood was hardly pretty at all. If you're a single lady with luggage, pack light as you are to scale to the top of the hill. However, the Basilque church and Montmarte is another 15mins walk from the hotel with great cafes, shops & restaurants.... more

We were rather skeptical about the place before we went there and were pleasantly surprised. We had 2 rooms for us and our 6 year old son. They rooms were clean, linen and towel were fresh and there was abundance of hot water. There was however one tile missing in the bathroom and the TV had only French programming. But... more

I had booked this hotel before I read the reviews - big mistake. The room was very tatty and old. The beds were absolutely terrible - rock hard with the springs digging in to you all night. The bed my husband slept in broke several times each night with a very loud crash as the lathes fell out on to... more

I stayed here for the RWC Semi Final weekend and found the hotel to be awful. It is however fantastically positioned and if you are planning on using it to shower, sleep and leave then you should have no complaints as it does just what it says on the box. TV channels numbered about 7 - if you can see... more

I was a bit anxious about this one after reading all the different reviews about this Hotel. But we; my wife, my 5 year old daughter and I were really happily surprised. The location is very good! Situated in the narrow and steep streets in Montmartre, but away from the tourist crowd! And we slept really quite and well here... more

Budget hotel conveniently located a (long) flight of stairs from Le Sacré Coeur church in Montmartre. The staff is friendly enough and the breakfast is good but the rooms are very small and dark. The bathrooms are clean enough but the hairdryer wasn't working as half of it was missing (screwed on the wall). It was quite noisy at night... more

Hotel New Montmartre 7, rue Paul Albert, Paris 75018 - Phone : +33.1.43.46.20.70 A typical cheap small Paris hotel, but a shade nicer, and in a fantastic location only yards from the famous Sacre Coeur basilica in quaint, picturesque Montmartre. Go into the basilica late evening and hear the nuns sing compline - amazingly peaceful. The area has the usual... more

I stayed in Hotel New Montmartre when my school organised a week-long trip to Paris. My first memory from this hotel was that when our team arrived there, our rooms (we had reserved them beforhand) weren't free. We were tired from waking up at 5.0 a.m and flying from Finland to Paris and wanted to get some rest. Well, we... more
