We spent three nights here in the last week of April. It was a thoroughly pleasant experience. The lady at the desk was very welcoming and helpful upon our arrival, and so were all staff members during our stay. They gave us good advice as to dining options in the area, together with helpful guidance on getting around Paris and... More

We booked three nights and had a great stay. The hotel is ideally set halfway up to Sacre Coeur but amazingly away from the crowds - just a few quaint cafes steps away from their doors. We opted for a deluxe room (Paris hotel rooms can be small) and were very happy with the room size and bathroom. The hotel... More

Funky little hotel with a focus on couples, in a great location for exploring Montmartre. The staff couldn't do enough to help, the location was great, the room was small, but comfortable and cosy. The decor and design of the place is intimate and romantic. A few details could be improved. The lighting in the corridors is light sensitive and... More

Ideally placed in Montmartre with good access to nearby metro stations. Room was very clean and tidy, and a normal size for Paris. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Would definitely stay here again!

Mon Amour is perfectly placed in Montmartre. Access to the metro is fine with the Sacre Coeur just behind. There are at least three or four good restaurants across the street. We tried them all and they were great. The hotel service was fantastic. I must admit our room was a little tight (Baisers Voles) but we managed okay and... More

. Never have I stayed in a hotel where you have to exit the toilet just so you can pull your trousers up. To walk around the room, it is a strict "back flat against the wall job" as if you were on the edge of a cliff trying not to fall off. The elevator is so small, iv seen... More

Staying in Montmartre

Neighborhood Profile
Montmartre
Montmartre is a bustling mix of cultures, colors, and styles which changes from one street to another. Ride the funicular (or, for a real workout, climb the steps) to the sublime Sacré-Coeur (Basilica of the Sacred Heart) with its inspiring view of the city. The church is surrounded by provincial streets and piano bars where tourists, artists, and street entertainers thrive. At the foot of the hill, Boulevard de Clichy features shops not intended for young audiences, while residences are scattered to the north and east. The diverse population includes a large part from the Arab-speaking world, Africa, and Turkey. It’s a corner of Paris full of life and dynamism with charms that can’t be found anywhere else.
