The hotel is near Hotel de Ville metro station, just 2-3 minutes walk. Also several grocery stores nearby. Location was wonderful, but sleeping was a little problem because there wasn't air conditioning in the room and there was very hot if the window was closed. If the window was open, it was too noisy to sleep because there are many... More

Let's get the good parts out of the way, the location. This decrepit hotel accompanied by aircon which doesn't work and a bathroom that would resemble a public toilet, is over priced and uncomfortable. The website claims it is 4.5 stars however the plaque on the wall as you walk in clearly states 2. We stayed during summer and as... More

Without doubt the worst hotel in Paris. No elevator, shocking decor (pictures are very deceiving) no air conditioning (despite being advertised with ac) and rude staff. Location was the only positive point but at one atage i tried to move hoyels and was suprised at how good and comparably priced ither hotels in the area were. Stay away at all... More

Having stayed the Marais District before and loving it, this hotel proved a real winner. Very modern and clean, with good sized doubled bedded room and nicely set up bathroom. We had a first floor room , as there is no lift and overlooked the street. The soundproofing was excellent ,so once the windows were shut, any street noise did... More

I was very impressed with this hotel, with clean modern rooms in a superb location, opposite Raidd Bar in the Marais. Great for the gay tourist especially with the main gay bars and clubs all very close. Great to look out onto the street through the large window, which was also sound-proofed to cut out the noise when you want... More

Ok know that you are basically booking a no frills hotel. But from that lens this place is great. Location is 5 star. Not only because it is less that a 5 min walk from hotel de vile but also because it is on a small street and sleeping is a dream. I was worried because there isn't air conditioning... More

We stayed in this hotel in November 2013, just after it had opeened and there were no reviews online. As I live in Paris I was able to pop by and check out the facilities. This hotel is smack bang in the middle of the Marais and perfect for the Hen Do I was organising. The rooms were great for... More

I stayed in Hotel D'win from May 1st to 5th,2014 and I loved this hotel! Hotel was clean and location was perfect! 10minutes to walk from "Chatelet les halles' which you can easily access RER B and metro and Hotel De vile was only 5 minutes away so you'll be able to see Seine river right after. Room was cleaned... More

Location of this hotel is well located with around with bars and restaurants, and also near to the metro station. The room is clean and comfortable, as the photos shows in the booking website. Price is abit pricey for me as a student, however, I found it is worthy for the whole trip.

The hotel is centrally located with an abundance of restaurants and bars in the area. The hotel itself is clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was not too small although the shower was fairly tight. I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel if you are able bodied and have no small children as... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
