What an utterly exceptional experience. Staff so amazingly accommodating, beautifully decorated, brilliant location, value for money - I'm almost loathed to rate so high to keep this secret all to myself for next time!! I'd only recommend to improve the WiFi but understand it may be difficult in a period building. Congrats to the team!

All to often, trendy arty hotels like this are to much style over substance. Let me put your mind at rest, this is not the case with this hotel. Firstly, it was clean and modern with all modern up to date facilities. The rooms were actually quite big for Paris standards. And as for the bathrooms. Well....10 years I have... More

I stayed in this hotel last week for 2 nights & had a fantastic time. The hotel is in a great location, near to a number of metro stations, restaurants, shops etc. The staff were very friendly & helpful, the hotel itself is a work of art! It's a really lovely place to stay, the rooms are cosy, beds are... More

We stayed here for a long weekend. The hotel is situated in the heart of the Marais and is therefore very handy for the Picasso Museum and Pompidou Centre, plus a wide variety of shops, especially fashion, restaurants etc. The decor of the hotel is very quirky, not typical modern hotel. No clean lines and lack of decoration here! Just... More

This review is 35 weeks late but better late than never! I have been back and forth to Paris for the last 22 years so know the city very well. My most recent visit was spent at hotel du petit moulin (I chose this over the last visit when I stayed at Mandarin) and must say it was exactly what... More

This is an unusual hotel as regards decor but absolutely up to the mark in regards to staff and amenities. Initially, our booking was missing as it had not been picked up from the hotel website but the staff were quick to both fix the error and issue us with a free drink from the bar as compensation. Loved the... More

A great little hotel just outside of the main area of the Marais. The hotel is charming and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms can be a bit noisy though so I'd suggest you ask for a quiet room if that is an issue for you. The bed was comfortable and the location was good for checking... More

An 18-room former bakery that is long on charm, with a colorful -- over-the-top -- decor by Christian Lacroix. Our deluxe room had a king-sized bed and a large bathroom for a price considerably less than at hotels closer to the Champs Elysees. Though the hotel isn't near a metro, it is on a very quiet street and within easy... More

Second time we stayed here, and again a calm and charming experience! Each room is individually decorated by christian lacroix, as individual as you are treated by the lovely staff! If you like it calm, understated and in the heart of the "ile de france" (the heart of paris: le marais) stay in this very boutique hotel! Don't expect the... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
