Just back from a two night stay at this hotel. We have stayed in the Marais area many times (in fact we always stay in that area), and Hotel du Petit Moulin was always on the shortlist. We thought we would spend a little extra and stay there this time. The saying that 'nothing is expensive if it is good... More

Small hotel in a lovely quieter area of Paris. The hotel must have been empty, we saw no other residents in the Hotel. An expensive breakfast on top of expensive rooms. You expect more from a 4 star hotel. Price /quality not correct. One plus point . The receptionist was very friendly and helpful.

Dear Andre D, Thank you for your recent stay with us. We are happy that you enjoyed the lovely location and our usual warm welcome at the front desk. We are however sorry to hear that you found the rates to be too pricey, even with our summer promotional rate. We hope to have the pleasure to welcoming you again... More

This is overspill hotel from the excellent Pavillon de la Reine in Place Vosges. Rather disappointing. Expensive small rooms, even in their suite. Breakfast ,nothing special again for the price. We always walked around the corner and found excellent 10 Euro breakfasts.

Dear David M, Thank you for taking the time to post a review on Tripadvisor. I am sorry to hear that you were not fully satisfied of your stay back in June. Our Junior Suite is 35 square meters, pretty big for parisian standards and June is the very high season for us, that may be the reason why the... More

We stayed in a top floor suite with low ceilings and lots of beams so constantly hitting my head. Also a small bathroom with again, low ceilings. Had to walk up last flight of steps in narrow corridor...that got to be a tad boring. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location...Felt not good value for money- especially being... Dear Matt H, Thank you for your review, i am happy to hear that you enjoyed our warm service as well as the location of our hotel. It is true that there are low ceilings and beams in some parts of our Junior Suite, which makes its charm but could be annoying for very tall persons i can admit. However... More

Only 17 rooms but what an atmosphere!! I have hardly ever experienced such nice staff. All of them friendly an service minded. Our room was big enough, very quiet, dark in the night and with a very good air cond (33 degrees outside). The honesty bar where you pick up any drink you like and tell the reception who will... I've visited Paris several times, and I tend to favour the Marais district. There are not that many boutique hotels to choose from, so this is a good choice. Our room was on the ground floor, but still quiet enough. Some of the furnishings looked like they needed cleaning or replacement but that may have occurred since we were there... More

We are happy that you thought the hotel was a good choice in the Marais area As you mentioned before, you have booked our first category ("Comfort room") on the ground floor, in which we have done a few changes since 2013, the rooms... I just spent 7 wonderful nights at the Hotel du Petit Moulin in the Marais area of Paris. The hotel staff is warm and helpful. Decorated by Christian Lacroix, the rooms are bohemian and beautiful. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruits, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and crunchy/soft croissants and breads. After a day exploring the neighborhood and nearby arrondissements, it was... More
