The staff are brilliant and helpful in every possible way. Rooms are larger than usual for Paris and there are pretty large bathrooms as well. Centrally located in the fashionable Marais district, surrounded by restaurants, shops and close to the river. To be recommended highly. Maybe the Internet could be faster and easier to connect to but I am sure... More

I stayed here on a business trip and I found the hotel very interesting. It's quite charming and the staff were very good. My room design wasn't really to my taste, but it had a beautiful bathroom with a large old fashioned bath. For some it might not be ideal that prefer a shower and a bath, but it was... More

I've stayed in the Hotel du Petit Moulin in June'15. I found this hotel quite impressive and nice in terms of decoration. Each room is different and special and makes you feel & live the "creative" side of Paris. The rooms are small but very convinient. Location is superb: 5 min walk from metro L8 & 15 min walk La... A very beautiful querky hotel in the center of le Marais. One of the best district of Paris. The front is so funny as it is the one of an old Parisian bakery. We saw 2 different rooms, it seems that every room is different. All decorated by the designer Christian Lacroix: unbelievable design! We love the hotel from Check... More

This was my second time staying at the hotel de petit moulin and I was quite happy both times. The location is perfect, the staff are very friendly, the breakfast is great and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The decor is fun and I like that there aren't many rooms and each one is unique. The only criticisms are... More

Hotel du Petit Moulin is tucked down a quiet street, but the location is a great jumping off point for wandering the charming Marais neighborhood. The concierge was so helpful! It would have been quite a challenge for us to make our dinner reservations, but they did it for us! All I had to do was email our restaurant requests... More

My husband and I stayed for a week in this fantastically located little Marais hotel. The hotel itself is adorable inside and out; old beams and remnants of the bakery it once was in the hotel's exterior and interior, great room keys, lovely accommodating attractive young staff manning the front desk. Free wifi, clean, as far from cookie cutter as... More

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
