The fire alarm went off at 4am in which my friends and I were accused of as it went off just as my friends called the elevator. The receptionist who was previously friendly began shouting at my friends asking 'what did you do???' and telling all of the guests who came downstairs that it was our fault. Once the alarm... More

The location of this hotel is perfect for those looking to walk around the city and its many attractions. Yes the rooms are on the small side but are not cramped; and besides you aren't going to be spending a lot of time in the room. The rooms were clean, as was the hotel. We didn't have breakfast at the... More

We at Hotel Saint-Honore for 3 nights at the end of our European trip. Firstly, the reception/management staff were delightful. Friendly and ver helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent and so easy to get around on foot and Metro. Being in the 1st arrondissement it was very central. The Chatelet metro station was only 100 metes away which... The staff is friendly. The rooms are small but clean and functional. Nothing to complain. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel so cannot comment on that. Price was right for very central location. Rooms were not noisy but the view was only to the inside airhole, so maybe you're lucky to get a room with a street view... But... More

Nice hotel in a decent neighborhood. Only 5 minutes walk from the Louvre and about 15 minutes from Notre Dame. The hotel was in good condition and very clean. The rooms were small, but maybe not by European standards. The location of the bed was not ideal for getting around the room. It should have been turned 90 degrees to... More

I stayed here for 2 nights and it was ok. It is in a good location, and it did the job for me. The amenities were clean, and wifi was good. My only comment would be to avoid using the lift if you are a bit claustrophobic, it is extremely small and would not me and my suitcase and I... More

Overall it was not a good experience except for the location which is excellent and the buffet breakfasts which were very good-- otherwise this would have been a ONE star.. The room(s -- we changed once during our 5 day stay) -- were small; the first one was right on the street and noisy at night with a motorcycle club... More

We were having a hard time finding a hotel for four (2 adults, 2 kids) at a reasonable price. Found this hotel, which had a room with four single beds and a very competitive price. When we walked into the room, I was concerned as those beds sure were squeezed into the room, including one in between the closet and... More

We stayed here three nights at the beginning of our France trip. Easy to get to from DeGaulle airport with RER/Metro about one block away. Dozens of places to eat and drink within short walk and many other shops you might need. Can easily walk to Louvre, Ile de la Cite, Palais Royale and more. Hotel staff very friendly and... More

I recently stayed here for one week during my business related travel to Paris. I had some extra time on each end of my trip to explore the city and do some sight-seeing and the hotel was in a prime location. There is a Metro station right around the corner, and the Louvre is practically next door. There is lots... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
