Despite the terrible reviews, I didn't find the hotel to be that bad. Was a little untidy? Yes. But, you get what you pay for -- and I didn't want to spend a lot of money on my hotel when there is so much to do in Paris. Rooms were smaller, but we were able to fit 3 persons comfortably.... More

Don't go by the photo on holiday websites. The hotel rooms we stayed in were terrible. The showers were dirty. The bedding consisted of wool blankets over a clean sheet, but the blankets were stained with goodness knows what. Velcro round the bed was covered with hair and fluff. I wish I could download photos!

Don't ever think in booking at unic Renoir . When we arrived , our room was sooo dirty . There was hair on a pillow . The linen was just thrown and scrambled on the bed . This was supported to be a triple room. Meaning 2 identical beds . But we got 2 beds and an extra bed that... More

We stayed at this hotel for a few nights in July 2014. We were attracted to it because we had 2 adults and 3 kids, and there are relatively few reasonably priced options in Paris - most will require you to book 2 rooms. To be fair, we were also late in booking our hotel, and it was over Bastille... More

Despite so many bad reviews I had read about this hotel,we still chose it since we did not find any better place with this budget and good location, and well, after our stay, i'm very happy about our choice, it was a nice surprise after bad expectations. The location is perfect, steps away from Edgar Quinet metro station, and five... More

We booked this hotel as part of a package deal on booking.com and got a very good price. I wasn't expecting anything fancy as after all we are in Paris and just like London you would need to pay through the roof to get anything above average. The location of the hotel is great, very close to Edgar Quinet metro... More

We booked this on a whim at the end of a long holiday in the Loire. We decided to have a few days in Paris to remember what a city was like after weeks in the countryside! It was the last weekend of August and everything was booked so we took this as it was available, reasonably priced and could... More

Unic Renoir Saint Germaine Hotel. We booked this hotel through American Express travel and it was one of the worst Hotels I've ever stayed at. ( and I've stayed in quite a few all over the world). First off we booked the Unic Renior Saint Germain but we were given the bait and switch and sent to the Hotel Renior... More

Had booked online. For the occupancy level at their peak, it was a bargain. Small rooms though. Location was consoling. Good food options galore all around in it's vicinity. Rocking street I must say. Bad breakfast. Good shopping options too.

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
