Despite so many bad reviews I had read about this hotel,we still chose it since we did not find any better place with this budget and good location, and well, after our stay, i'm very happy about our choice, it was a nice surprise after bad expectations. The location is perfect, steps away from Edgar Quinet metro station, and five... More

We booked this hotel as part of a package deal on booking.com and got a very good price. I wasn't expecting anything fancy as after all we are in Paris and just like London you would need to pay through the roof to get anything above average. The location of the hotel is great, very close to Edgar Quinet metro... More

We booked this on a whim at the end of a long holiday in the Loire. We decided to have a few days in Paris to remember what a city was like after weeks in the countryside! It was the last weekend of August and everything was booked so we took this as it was available, reasonably priced and could... More

Unic Renoir Saint Germaine Hotel. We booked this hotel through American Express travel and it was one of the worst Hotels I've ever stayed at. ( and I've stayed in quite a few all over the world). First off we booked the Unic Renior Saint Germain but we were given the bait and switch and sent to the Hotel Renior... More

Had booked online. For the occupancy level at their peak, it was a bargain. Small rooms though. Location was consoling. Good food options galore all around in it's vicinity. Rocking street I must say. Bad breakfast. Good shopping options too.

We booked this hotel from AU, and once we got there it was a lot smaller but still nice. We got room that was located once you walk out the court yard which is beautiful. Room was on the top floor and it was good. Enough considering we only slept there for a few hours and spend whole day around... More

We had the ground floor room openng into a lovely courtyard. The room is basic and does not have any frills but was cleaned everyday and... More

This past June, my family of four, along with another family of four traveled to Paris for a vacation and stayed at this hotel for five days. We both had a suite right across from each other right off the courtyard. No, not everything was perfect, but any complaints we had were minuscule. The fact that we could not keep... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
