Great location, including free wifi and breakfast. Rooms need maintenance... eg power socket hanging out of wall, and hole in bathroom wall. Shower tap needed to be pressed for water (like in public bathrooms), but basin tap was normal faucet. Our room (top floor I think) was dimly lit and had low ceiling and doorway - had to duck to... We are currently at this hostel and it is so dirty. The sheets weren't changed the bathroom filthy. The floor had dirt all over it and paint chips all over the floor from the tiny closet that didn't shut. I would not come back here if you paid me!

Absolute Boutique truly sits at a 3.5 star rating. They have some good and some bad qualities but overall I rounded up due to its proximity to the Paris metro and price. To begin, the price was very fair. The hostel is a 5 minute walk from the Republique station which can get you to many Paris landmarks without needing... More

The reason I had chose this place was due to it being one of the more affordable places and for also being at a very convenient location. This hostel is located in the Marais right along the Canal St-Martin and is about a 5 minute walk from the Republique metro station which can bring you anywhere in Paris. Despite its... More

Worst hostel I've ever stayed at. Room and bathroom were absolutely disgusting. They clearly aren't cleaned thoroughly (hair in bathroom/on toilet/shower) and stuff dripped and smeared on walls that were not cleaned. Shower does not stay running, you have to keep pushing the knob in every 20 seconds or so. We also had to move rooms because of bed bugs... More

This hostel would have gotten a nice three, as it is an okay okay place overall if you're not too fussed with looks or it being a little dirty. But then, I got back after a long day out to find that some coins, two necklaces (not even worth much, just sentimental value), a pair or sleeper earrings (but not... More

The place was very good. I travel with a group of teenagers in a school trip. The rooms were clean, they had their own bathroom, also clean. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. The place is centric, very close to the metro station, next to a supermarket and a lot of restaurants around. I recommend it.

When a friend left us stranded for a night, we found this hostel at midnight that had a room available. The staff were friendly and price was right. We booked a private room which was comfortable. However, it was a bit snug, there was no tv and the view was of a brick wall. Well, with the low price, we... More

I was in luck to get checked in a two ppl room while i booked for four ppl room. The room is clean, has a private bathroom and with towels provided, which may not be the case for more ppl room. There is no locker in the room though and the lockers in the hallway are tiny ones. Breakfast is... More

The rooms are little dirty, the bathroom was nice but the shower was terrible. Dirty and not very good. The rooms are not that big and the price is high, when you see what you're paying for. The staff was nice and breakfast ok. The hostel was close to the Metro which was good.
