Perfectly located with a lot of restaurants in the area. Clean, quiet and nice interior. I will choose this hotel again when in Paris. Tasty breakfast with freshly squeezed juice. Easy to adjust the temperature.

A modern and charming hotel that I would strongly recommend. It is located just outside the centre of Paris which was great because you saw so much more! The staff were incredibly polite and friendly and the local shops were great. There is a fabulous bakery just around the corner that made some of the tastiest pastries in France. Much... More

We stayed at this hotel in october 2012 We loved it! We booked one of the two story suites which was beautiful and very spacious! It had a window on the ceiling of the second floor where the bed was and it had an excellent Paris view! The hotel was being refurbished so they gave us a discount on our... More

It is in a great position close to lots of lovely eating places and within walking distance from the river. It is close to the metro and connects directly to Gare du Nord if arriving on Eurostar. It is... More

Good location close to 2 metro stations in an area with lots of dining and entertainment. Very pleasant staff. The room was big enough for two and very clean. Housekeeping staff did a great job. Very helpful and pleasant guy works the desk at night has great dining suggestions. I would definitely stay there again.

Samuel Beckett lived at this hotel when it was known as Hotel Liberia. Joyce visited Beckett at this hotel when he was recovering from a knife attact. Today, this hotel is well situated on a quite street and close to great restaurants and metro station.

Having had good experiences with Best Western properties in Europe (generally much nicer boutique properties than in America) - I booked this small hotel near the Montparnasse neighborhood of Paris. It is located very close to the Vavin metro stop (as well as walking distance to a number of others incl. Port-Royal, the RER stop to CDG airport). After a... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
