Overall, I'd recommend this hotel for anyone on a tight budget. Good location, clean, friendly and quiet. To be honest, I wasn't expecting a lot because this was a really, really cheap room. What I got was a comfortable and reasonably sized en-suite room, clean and quiet, if on the slightly shabby side. The staff were welcoming and friendly and... More

I had a great experience staying here on my first visit to Paris. The rooms were very affordable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful in getting me acquainted with the area. The neighborhood is a more suburban, less touristy area, but is close to public transportation. The rooms are small and not luxurious; they have a rustic vibe... More

If you're making the reservation online, make sure you print your cofirmation in order to get what you paid for,it's a good otel, well placed and comfortable, surrounded by markets, bars and restaurants and close to te train station, staff is good, cleanliness is good and it was at least pleasant being in this hotel.Wi-fi is horrible though.

Biggest advantage with Parc is its strategic location (this was the only reason we booked this place). It is 150 mtrs from Porte d'Orleans metro station, 50 mtrs from bus stand and 200 mtrs from tram ( Porte d'Orleans and Jean Moulin). This very quality categorizes it as a good location for budget travelers. Also, get a city pass if... More

I knew this hotel would be all the things in my title before arrival. I was pleasantly surprised to find the room cleaned daily. I also like the neighborhood where the hotel is. So many bakeries, delis, bars, supermarkets and restaurants nearby(steps away). My female friend and I took the d'Orleans metro stop everyday and transfers to the major stations(so... More

The hotel locates great location, 3 minus work from the Metro station inside Paris. We are two persons, and room was very small. There was a elevator but it was broken and we have to carry our heavy luggage to 3rd floor by ourselves. In the room, self inside the closet was fall off because the supporting parts was broken.... We arrived and the first surprise was that the elevator was broken and not ready for one week. The rooms are decent, toilet a bit small but the bed are confortables. The reception's service sometimes is too annoying asking for the keys all the time, we had also a sad experience with the room service. We left one pair of... More

If you're looking for location, then this hotel is fantastic for its location as is very close to transport for the city etc ... The staff were very helpful and friendly, but the lift hasn't been working for a while (had to cart luggage up stairs). Luckily they moved us from the sixth floor to the second, it was still... Me and my girlfriend stayed here in February for 3 nights. To be honest, we couldn't have asked for anything better for what we wanted. We were two minutes from two metro stops which you could get anywhere in Paris from. There was a good choice of patisseries and bars/restaurants within a few minutes walk. Would definitely recommend for other... More

Situated very close to Porte d'Orleans metro, this budget hotel is perfect for a weekend or long weekend stay. Room needed TLC but was clean - especially the bathroom and bedding. You wouldn't want to stay here in the summer heat, as the hotel does nit have air conditioning. At the time I visited, the lift wasn't working which could... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
