I can not fault this hotel at all! My boyfriend and I recently stayed here for 3 nights and I'm so glad that we did. Having no clue about Paris the staff immediately made us feel welcome and gave us a map to help guide ourselves around the city. They were there for any of our needs 24/7, including helping... More

I also had a good experience here. Got a good deal as part of a package with Orbitz. Stayed 6 nights in the smallest room size-and it was truly tiny. But well designed, so I didn't really mind. Fine for one person. Everything seemed clean and new, especially the bathrooms. Rooms have key cards, so no dropping the key off... More

We stayed here over the Easter break 2015. We were met by a lovely front desk manager who was super helpful and kind. Room: Luckily we were upgraded upon our arrival to a Superior room - it was tiny so we were happy that we got it and not the smaller room we'd originally booked. Still, enough room for a... More

I stayed with my girlfriend for 4 nights from 8th till 12th of April. The room was very clean, the bathroom also. the only negative was that the shower protection glass wasn't big enough and the water splattered the floor. the pressure of the water was very good, hot water all the time. the bed was very comfortable. the wifi... very close to oberkampf and republique metro stations. Small but very well designed rooms, very comfortable bed and great breakfast. Great personalised service. Everything a boutique hotel should be. Felt very safe at night as a single traveller. The area feels quite hip with trendier new bars and restaurants next to more established places. About a 10 minute walk to... More

The location to start was awesome, incredibly close to Place de la République (5 min walk) and the Oberkampf metro (2 min walk). The staff was incredibly helpful, whether it was helping with trains to the airport, restaurant recommendations, or just needing extra towels. Beds were comfortable, rooms were incredibly clean and comfortable. I preferred the smaller room to the... More

I was only here for a day, but the staff were friendly, and everything went smoothly. The room was slightly small, but modern, well kept. The bathroom was a good size, and the shower was fantastic - a huge shower head from the ceiling. I didn't want to leave it! The bed was firm and comfy with lots of pillows.... More

I have stayed mulitple times at the Hotel Gabriel, it is one of my favorite hotels in Paris. Nicely equiped rooms, quite trendy, a great bio breakfast (excellent bread and croissants). Very friendly staff, and well located to the Place de la République.

The hotel is in a fantastic location; very easy to get to, lots of tube stations near by, lots of things to do and good restaurants. The decor is beautiful; very well thought out, warm and welcoming. The rooms are well spaced out, with a Night Cove sound system, which is a lovely addition. Everything is modern, clean and relaxing.... More

I have just checked out of Hotel Gabriel after a 3 night stay. I arrived early on Saturday morning via the Eurostar, after a very early start in London! Staying in Bastille / Oberkampf

Neighborhood Profile
Bastille / Oberkampf
Bastille and Oberkampf are lively parts of town made for entertainment. During the day rows of unassuming bars welcome customers for a bite or a drink, but it’s at night this area really comes to life. Students and young professionals fill the busy bars around Bastille and Oberkampf. At Place de la Bastille, crowds flock to the Opéra Bastille in the evening and groups wait for coveted tickets during the day. Towards Republique, skateboarders practice their tricks while others chill out at the square. If you’re looking for late-night revelry, this is your neighborhood.
