My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a week in July. The staff was lovely and quite helpful. However: the largest room (called "Glowing") does NOT have a shower, only a bathtub with hand-held shower head and no hook or wall mount. We booked this room but were thankfully able to switch to an Executive room with stand-up... More

Hotel Gabriel was certainly a real "find". I had booked this on the strenght of a friend's recommendation and it completely exceeded my expectations. The hotel is located on a street with little through-traffic, which we appreciated but there is enough life going on nearby; two very quaint restaurants called La Pharmacie and Chez Imogene just around the corner as... The people at the desk were fantastic. Marlon, Esther and Collin were beyond helpful and friendly, and practically made the hotel feel like a family home. The street is a quiet one and the windows are solid and close out any noise from outside. The air conditioning worked well. The rooms are new, very clean and well designed.

We booked two rooms in this hotel mid July and from the reservation to the check out everything was flawless. We asked for Balcony room and not promised we got them (only few of them and strongly recommend them). Great housekeeping; full breakfast. Great locations to access to all area of paris very safe. Our second time there and for... More

As described by others, Hotel Gabriel is a pleasant, efficient and well-located little hotel. Expect a business hotel vibe as opposed to anything charming or quaint. Décor is simple and clean and my room was well-appointed and spacious. The hotel kindly upgraded me upon check in, so I can’t speak for the cheapest rooms. Small niggles: Phone charging/dock facility would... More

We had a great time in Paris staying at Gabriel Hotel. Pretty close to the Republique subway station, it allows you to go anywhere by subway. At the core of the Marais we felt really part of Paris. Lovely staff and great breakfast. The rooms are really small but the comfort and cleanness make you forget this in a minute.

Very nice little hotel and a great stay. Excellent air conditioning, lovely designed room. Small room but just fine for what I needed (booked a solo room). Breakfast fine but could do with a little more variety. Overall a great stay. As others have mentioned the WIFI is a little patchy (it drops the connection when you don't use it... More

My colleague and I stayed in this hotel for three nights. The staff were very friendly and fully bilingual. The hotel is located in a great location. It's full of culture; it is close to great food and excellent shopping. However, there were some major problems. First, the bathroom sink clogged on two occasions over our three night stay. Saturday... More

My partner and I stayed here in late May 2014 for two nights. We found the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful and the hotel very boutique and stylish. The rooms are small, but this is usual for Paris. And it's part of the charm. The bed was so so comfortable with lovely linen and pillows. Great shower and... More
