We just spent three nights at Fred. It is a nice and recently renewed three star hotel. We had the largest kind of room, it was big enough, well appointed and furnished. The lobby-breakfast room are rather small, but sufficient for the number of rooms. The small buffet was good for a continental breakfast plus some ham and cheese and... More

Just returned from a two night stay with my husband and in-laws. Apart from the well documented glass bathroom door issue we couldn't fault this hotel. Reception was manned 24/7 and the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. OK, it's not central but that is exactly why we booked it. The location is quiet with no street... More

Very modern rooms but very small. Only for couples because the bathroom is made of see through glass walls. The reception was exceptionally helpful, and spoke very good English. A very good French bistro 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is not located in the center of Paris , but is very close to the 13 Metro line.... More

Ok, having read some of these reviews and stayed at the hotel I promised I would write an honest review so here it is. Some people seem to write these intent on finding things to moan about. Location: Not 'central' as such but very easy for two metro stations that are an easy ride around the capital. Situated on a... More

+ the bed, the shower, no noise from outside -the see-trought wall in the bathroom, next to the toilet with a mirror in front of it to make sure that there was nowhere in the room where you could not see what was going on in the toilet. -small room even for Parisian standards. -booked a deluxe room, not sure... Thank you for your comment. We try our best to enhance our hotel to satifsfy our clients. We acknowledge there is a problem of privacy in certain bathrooms. We have currently been coping with this problem installing translucid films in order to make a visual separation between the bathroom and the rest of the room. It's in progress but not... More

This was my first stay in that hotel and I recommend it as it is located in a nice area with a lot of restaurant around. Even if it is not a touristic place in Paris, it is typical and chaming.

Most people don't bottom line things here, so please allow us to do that for you: 1) Overall, this hotel is a pretty great deal. It's literally two blocks from two different subway stations, so getting into downtown Paris only takes 10 - 20 minutes. The hotel is very clean and well kept, the public kitchen area is very nice... Fred Hotel was just great! The room had nice modern decor, although the door to the bathroom was clear glass, but hey, you've seen one then you've seen them all! The bed was super comfy and I think the walls were soundproofed becuase there was no external noises at all which was fantastic. The staff were warm and friendly which... More
