Spend 10 days at Fred Hotle at Jan. this year, my first business triy to Paris, starting from Thursday, January 8, 2015 to Sunday, January 18, 2015. Room type is Deluxe Room. I could say it's good especailly in Paris, room is more than 20 metres, enough for me, decoration is morden and a little bit art, my cup of... More

The hotel is in a good location close to metro station and some good restaurants. The hotel is very clean and although the room was very clean, it was very compact!! The only thing that let the hotel down was a lack of friendly service! Seemed more interested in anything else than being pleasant to guests!!

I have found this hotel through TA. The experiences and pictures convinced me to book a room for a romantic weekend in Paris. Well, we've got what we wanted! The rooms are well decorated, modern, clean and... quiet! (Although I had the impression the hotel was not fully booked.) Furthermore, the room had more than enough space and the bathroom... More

We found this hotel to be very good value for its standards and location. The location is not too touristy with lots of local bakeries and restaurants around. Whilst at the same time being in walking distance to three metro stations, so it's very easy and quick to get to the centre. The room we had was quite small but... More

Fred Hotel is located 200 meters from Plaisance Metro station in a very nice and quiet area. Rooms are a bit small but nicely decorated, very clean, with a nice & modern bathroom and comfy bed. For the coffee lovers, the room has a Nespresso machine! Nice shopping area around the hotel, grocery shops, bakeries and different kind of restaurants.

Stayed 3 days 2 nights. We were just looking for a no frills place to stay around Paris. Priced well. Room and bathroom was clean and presented well. No complaints. Staff were very pleasant, welcoming and spoke English. Hotel location was <5 min walk to Metro which made moving around easy. Location was very convenient beside Rue Raymond Losserand which... More

We were in Paris for a long weekend. The people from Fred Hotel were very nice! On the day we went home the receptionist told us he thought we were very nice visitors! There was also a Dutch lady, so it was nice to speak with her. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was ok, not particularly special. We ate breakfast outside... More

This is a lovely, small modern hotel on a quiet block in Monparnasse. The Metro is a block away and there are local shops at both ends of the street. The rooms are well appointed and have everything you need in a city hotel. The breakfast is good and the lounge/reception area is very nice. There is actually a handicapped... More

It was a great hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. good location for the exhibiting centre, only a team ride away. However Sunday mostly everything was closed and there weren't many places to get food to take away.

Recently hotel prices in Paris have been skyrocketing and trying to find a center hotel within a decent hood and mostly clean is not easy. This one might fit your needs: small, in a quiet street, close to montparnasse metro station and to some cafes and restaurants. Rooms are small but design-like. Cleanliness is average, breakfast is good and continental... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
