upon arrival we were told that our key wouldn't be available for 24hrs, it seemed like an effort for the staff to help us out in any way. the room smelled of strong bleach, very uncomfortable beds, the walls must be paper thin, very loud movement through the night (doors slamming etc.) we had to ask for towels and toilet... We expected a discount motel so the look is what we expected...small, cramped and a little dirty. What we didn't expect was dor the heater to be on all day/night when it's 24 degrees outside, after we'd asked them yo turn off the heater (no thermometer) and worst off all the BED BUGS, when we went to tell reception (the... My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights specifically to be in the Montmartre neighborhood. The hotels isn't the most spectacular place, but the rooms were clean and I loved the bathtub that our room came with. As soon as we checked in, we went up for a champaigne on the terrasse bar with the... More

WORST most unhelpful man on desk EVER! SOOO rude. Shouting at us and his staff (think French Basil Fawlty!) tried to make us pay for 2 rooms and had to argue when we arrived. Asked for a map of Paris and he just pointed and went back to computer. Awful man. There was a nicer one on that night (Mahmoud,... More

The good features: The hotel is located in front of a underground station (Porte de Clignancourt, M4), so, in about 20 min you're in Cité station, for example. The room was clean every day and the towels were changed as well. There are markets, some places to eat near of it. The bad features: The staff don't speak english very... More

Stayed at Hotel de la Terrasse for 2 nights in May. It cost 150 euros for a triple room for the 2 nights. It's a nice clean hotel in the Montmartre area of paris. The hotel staff were great and answered our questions as it was our first time in Paris. The room was quite big as it had a... More

I have stayed in several hotels in Paris and this was by far the WORST ! The only TWO positive things to say are that the a least had blinds to darken the room AND the Metro station in 1 minute away from the Hotel so you can travel around Paris quickly. The PROBLEM here is that there is a... More

One of the cheapest hotels in Paris, so don't expect much. It is quite small and far from the city centre, but the staff is very helpfull and there's an underground station right in front of the hotel.

Rooms are generally quite small and the bathroom is narrow but the metro station is at walking distance (less than one minute) no frills and low fare, perfect to sleep after a long day in paris. Don't be alarmed by the not so pretty faces in the streets, common discretion is enough to avoid all dangers. Even Sacre Coeur is... More
