Location was perfect in and out of Paris. No need to drag your luggage onto the streets of Paris since it is right next door to Denfert Rochereau. We stayed for three days and all our dinner were around the area which had great selection and variety. Thou coming in to reception is a bit tricky with a flight of... More

A small but awesome place to stay. The receptionist and staff where amazing at helping us find our way around Paris. They spoke English and French which came in handy cuz I didn't remember all my french. I would definitely come back and stay here again.😃 can't wait to come back 😍🇫🇷

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location. We use the Metro to go whereever we want to go. Not fancy, but clean and nice rooms. You can't beat the price. We have been staying here when ever we go to Paris for 8 years now.

Stayed at the Lion for a few days to see 2 concerts at the Theatre des Champs Elysees. Very friendly staff made me immediately feel at home. I had a (for Paris) relatively spacious room with 2 small balconies, a large double bed, a desk, HD TV and a small bathroom. The room had a city view, over the rooftops... More

The staff is very friendly and helpful. We really appreciated that they found some things we left and are sending them on to us. The Hotel is not luxurious, but is is clean and nice. For us is a perfect location to access the metro and RER and the Olry-Bus, and we like being close to Rue Daguerre which is... More

Three days in Paris over Christmas was made so much better by this small, friendly, convenient hotel. Close to all transport, food and services close by, in a real neighborhood. But the staff made all the difference. So very helpful, warm, always a smile and a greeting, perfect English. Not a frills hotel but clean and family feel. A place... More

The hotel is located near very close to Denfert-Rochereau station (RER and metro) and has direct bus connection to Orly airport. Therefore it is very convenient to travel to and from the airport to the hotel. The neighborhood has a supermarket, cafes and plenty of restaurants to eat in. The reception staff was very nice. Though the room was relatively... More

The hotel has an excellent location, very close to the RER to the airport and to two metro lines. Also important the neighborhood is nice, it has a supermarket and bakery just facing the hotel, and a very nice street with food stores with a strong French style. The staff is welcoming and though the hotel is only a european... More

First of all, the staff is really friendly, very willing to help and made our saty better in all ways. The location is fantastic, in front of the Denfert Rochereau RER and Metro station lines 4 and 6. Cleaness is a positive aspect. No itens to reclaim.

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
