The hotel has nice friendly helpful staff. The room was basic and clean with a comfy bed, mini fridge, tv, safe deposit box etc. The bathroom was a bit dated and not a proper shower, only a hose connected to the taps. There was no space in the hotel car park but we managed to park in an adjacent street... More

Very small room. Literally two feet on either side of the bed. Just imagine that the bathroom door only opened about 3/4 of the way till it hit the bed. There was a plasma tv, comfy beds and extra pillow which was good. However, the hotel has no air-conditioning, which is something to consider on very hot summer days!!! Very... More

I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights in Apr. It was really awful to see three used condoms under bed at the first night. The hair dryer was broken as well. Someone’s hair is left on the blanket and bed. I doubt if the room has ever been entirely cleaned. I left a notice in the room, hoping the... More

...and you don´t plan to spend all day in a hotel room, then this is a good choice. Small but clean room with comfy bed.My only problem was with shower as water pressure was too weak. The best thing about this place is its location, conveniently close to metro station.

First of all, I had not a good first impression, because of a guy at the reception, he was drunk! A drunk receptionist. Wow! =) Really, i was quite surprised of course, probably it was because of a holidays (i arrived on 3th of January). But anyway, he's a face of the hotel.. Second reason, there wasn't wi-fi at that... More

I stayed in this hotel in August of 2012. I had little difficulty with most of the aspects of my stay. I had not opted to pre-purchase breakfast on the 3 mornings that I would be there. On two mornings, I decided to eat breakfast at the hotel, and paid the desk clerks in cash. When I checked out, the... More

All the members of staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful. They were even kind enough to keep one of my bags for two weeks while I did other travelling. The lifts and the rooms were quite small but fine for a trip that was spent mostly out of the hotel doing sightseeing.

I stayed here for 5 days. This hotel wasn't expensive and all of the staff was kind. I didn't want to clean my room, it was possible. I didn't ask it but I think there is system of lunch and diner in all room.

Located in the Montparnesse area and less than 10 minutes walk from the Metro station and less than 15 minutes from Gare Montparnasse, this small hotel suffices. There is not a lot of room to stretch out, but when in Paris, you should be out of the hotel most of the time. I was pleasantly surprised by the small refrigerator... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
