The Berkeley is a great 3-star hotel in the middle of Montparnasse (14th Arrondisement) in Paris. The area is great - plenty of great restaurants and shopping streets are a few meters away. 6 different Metropolitain lines are around the corner and one can walk to the famous cemetery or Luxembourg gardens without breaking a sweat. The hotel itself is... More

Location really close to most attractions, a bit noisy at night but overall room was clean and tidy, recently refurbished. Central location. Lovely staff, left luggage for most of our last day with mi issues. We'll come back again!!!!

Really cool place. Nice and easy access. Friendly day and night staff. Modern and styled rooms. Minus - have to wait for hot water to come through shower sometimes, just takes time. Twin rooms have smallish single beds. The doubles are fine. Super plus - space pillows! They should make key chains of them.

We stayed two nights at Berkeley hotel. The hotel manageress was consistently polite and helpful. The hotel itself was clean, cosy but perhaps a little too warm. Comfortable sleep and lovely bathroom facilities. Despite being on the corner of a busy main road, the room was peaceful at all times. We did not eat at the hotel as there are... More

The hotel is so right in the place. Cute, little, clean, comfortable room. The room has two big windows. Bathroom is ok, not big but not really small. They provide quality toiletries but you need to bring your own if you are too articulate. Me and my boyfriend walk from here to Eifel Tower. Far, far, far but exciting. The... More

A super hotel, in an excellent, safe location next to metro. Loads of places to eat near by- huge amount of shops. Rooms clean with a mini bar, heating and Tv. Staff friendly. Breakfast adequate. Stayed there twice and would def stay again!

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
