Stayed one nights at this hotel during my vacation in Paris previously. The Standard Room are small but nice and cozy. The hotel is a short walk away from the tourist attractions. Most of the rooms face inward, lending a quiet ambience.

Stayed here overnight last weekend in a two tiered room (two double beds). Entry to room one ( a bit on the small side but fine for an overnighter) well appointed furnishings and new bathroom. Then climbed spiral staircase to upper (more spacious room) with en suite toilet and wash basin but no shower. Felt like Heidi climbing into the... More

Newly refurbished and modern rooms. No problem with the service . The receptionist was a bit too grumpy for me. You are supposed to leave your key at the reception every time you go out, felt a bit like a summer camp rather than paying for a hotel.

Given my previous experience with quite budget hotels in Paris I must say I wasn't expecting much, especially as the location looked great on the map. This review is based on two people sharing but we didn't take the breakfast option. This hotel is really good for the price ( we found it during a flash sale on booking.com )... More

Having worked in 4* & 5* Hotels for many years, I am well aware of what good customer service is. I believe all hotels who want to have a good reputation will always strive to have the best customer service standard, even if the hotel facilities aren't 5*. We stayed at Hotel Choiseul Opera on Saturday 14th February - Sunday... More

Of all the reviews I have put on Tripadvisor this is one of the most difficult. When I arrived at around 9pm after a long journey they could not find my booking and as the not very welcoming receptionist spent quite a few minutes interrogating his computer I could see it appeared not to have been cleaned for months. How... More

In the heart of Paris you can find this fantastic hotel, which is look like a 5 star hotel for a price of a 3 star. Clean, silent, warm, comfy rooms. In the hotels street you can find 5 different restaurants(Italian, Thai, Chinese, etc.). Really close to the attractions. Highly recommended.

I booked for 5 nights on the last week of December. The room was classy decorated with nice queen sized bed and bathroom with a bathtub. Staff were really helpful and speaks English well. The hotel is situated in a centralised location that is so convenient; you hardly could find a place on Paris whereby the environment considered peaceful, safe... More

It was my last night in Paris before flying to Budapest. My ears had been sore for a few days but now they were roaring. I was staying in the Opera district, a favourite of mine, at the Concorde Opera Hotel. Forget about flying and stay near my surgery the doctor advised, and so the search began. My hotel was... More

The room was well equipped and clean, the staff were nice and the area was nice also. We only stayed for one night but it was a nice stay. The beds were comfy. The only down side was the lack of a bottle opener for the mini bar.

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
