The renovation of this hotel was really worth it. I stayed here for 4 nights and wasn't disappointed. The design of the rooms was amazing, all accompanied by brand new facilites and everything a customer might ask for. As contrary to the opinion of fellow reviewers, everything worked during my stay and the staff exceeded my expectations. Close distance from... More

Hotel Maloun appears to have had a lot of money thrown at it to renovate it to a high standard. It is a boutique hotel in an ideal location near the Madeline Church, which is near to Place de la Concorde. We were so surprised to see our room which was 'petit' but decorated to the highest specification. Because the... More

I was supposed to stay for 3 nights but I stayed for one night and it was more than enought in this hotel. First of all, there is no sign in front only a paper glued on the window saying Hotel Malown. The AC wasnt working, the phone in the room either. I heard the AC wasnt working in several... More

A great location, price, comfortable bed, modern design and great shower are the advantages of le malown. Downside is the very small room and heavy perfume smell. We did have a problem with the room keys the first day and a fire alarm in the middle of the night on the second, however, this is likely isolated incidents. I would... More

We are currently staying here and have been travelling around Europe for the last month. We also have done previous world trips and have not experienced anything like this...Staff are the rudest we have encountered...but maybe that is because they are French!!! Size of room..you cannot swing a cat! The room is ridiculous...in size for value..should not pay anymore than... More

I have read the bad reviews on here and couldn't disagree more, this hotel has now been refurbished and spotless and modern was very very impressed good location, I walked to the Eiffel Tower and arc de triumph and back and staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you, extremely helpful wasn't noisy at all and very cosy... Very very small - even by Paris standards. No bar or social interaction. Service was reasonable - but you could get a much better hotel for the same price in similarly convenient areas. Rooms are noisy with limiited amenities. Laundry was done properly and quickly. Most Paris hotels are very small but this was ridiculous. I've had better breakfast experiences... More

After previous terrible experiences trying to find a good cheap hotel in Paris I was very pleased with this one. Good location, friendly staff, tidy, clean, fair breakfast. My shower curtain was horribly mouldy, and the wifi gaspingly expensive at 20e for 24 hours, but both forgiveable when the rest of my stay was so pleasant and on a very... More

Stayed here in Sept, great staff very friendly and super helpful. I didn't mind the tiny lift or rustic look at all, what upset me was the shower curtain (it seems trivial I know!) it was full of mould and I felt physically sick when trying to have a shower. I even asked for a replacement new curtain the next... More

Hi Guys...Please do stay here. Even if you don't have hotel in the centre of Paris, stay bit far. This is a terrible run-down place. They should shut this down. The rooms are creepy, escalator is creepy, staf is useless, don't feel safe.I have travelled a lot in Europe, this is my worst experience. I hope you listen to me. I... More
