Hotel de l'Alma is a small older hotel located on a side street in the 7th Arrondissement of Paris blocks from the Eiffel Tower provides a glimpse of aristocratic life as home to the upper class since the 17th century. The hotel is small, rooms are petite but comfortable and what the property lacks in accoutrements, is easily found in... More

stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in may because of the location. the room was ok for a 3 star hotel but the wifi was a joke, it worked haphazardly on firts day, and not at all on the second. even the hotel's own computer was not working and they had to write the invoice by hand. price was... We stayed in De L’Alma Hotel for one night in May. We arrived at the hotel before midday and were told we could check into our room straight away. This was a great surprise as it gave us the opportunity to freshen up before we went site seeing! We stayed in a twin room and it was fabulous. The reception... More

My pregnant wife(8 months) and I looked forward to a romantic weekend in Paris. We booked this hotel in January because of good reviews at TA, and the location(300 meters from the EiffelTower). So here is a review for different facilities: Location: Perfect; a 5 star, close to everything and a quiet street. Rooms: Average: a 3 star(pretty small rom... More

The Hotel de l'Alma is my first option when staying in Paris. It is an easy metro or bus ride from the airport or from the train station. It is close to many Paris landmarks, most notibly the Eiffel Tower. The rue Cler a very quaint pedestrian street is just a few minutes away. You will find many restaurants, boutiques,... More

We stayed here for only a few nights. It was a very convenient place to stay for the few full days of tourist activities. We only wanted to do the main thing, the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, Champs Élysées. A quick walk to the tower. Breakfast was very cute. Small room under reception. The hotel was old but had been... We stayed in a twin room on the fifth floor which faced the front of the hotel. We had a large balcony style window and our view was of the buildings on the opposite side of the street. The room was small but completely adequate for our needs - twin beds, desk & chair, wardrobe, safe and an ensuite bathroom.... More

Stayed here for 2 nights this week, the location is great as other reviewers have said. But the hotel itself was so so at best. The receptionist when we got there made us to feel as though we were more of an inconvenience than a wanted customer, there's no where to leave suitcases (even though in email they said we... More

Stayed here with 5 colleagues to visit some musea in Paris, the hotel has a good location and the price is good. The light coming from the hotel sign is very bright and isn't so nice at night. Wouldn't go there if I had a romantic visit to the city, its in need of redecorating.

Staying in Tour Eiffel / Invalides

Neighborhood Profile
Tour Eiffel / Invalides
With the Eiffel Tower at its core, the Invalides area of Paris is guaranteed to impress. Golden towers and Baron Haussmann's urban vision meet military precision, stretching avenues, and luscious lawns. The area boasts the Musée D’Orsay, the tomb of Napoleon, the National Parliament and UNESCO, as well as luxurious, exclusive residences. In fine restaurants and at the weekend markets, families, diplomats, and politicians brush shoulders with the tourists who come to see this postcard-perfect area for themselves.
