I guess it depends on why you are in Paris but for us, being close to the underground, lots of local restaurants, a boulangerie on the corner, with a quick walk to The Louvre and a pleasant, helpful staff, just hit the spot! Nothing overly flashy or included just to raise their profile, the mini apartment was pleasant, the hotel... More

Great hotel for city visit located directly in the centre of Paris, shops, restaurant, metro in walking distance. Great and friendly staff, clean amd modernly furnished room. Breakfast buffet service is also above average for a 3-star hotel.

This hotel is well located to one of the main metro points in the city, chatelet les halles, which makes it good for getting around. It is also in fairly well in the centre of Paris which meant most of the attractions were within 30 mins walk (the Louvre is just down the road), which was the best way to... More

A small but perfect hotel for a short stay in Paris. Make room for siteseeing, shopping, and people watching from one of the close by cafe's. The service is welcoming and rooms are clean and modern. And especially thanks to the staff that could speak english.

The hotel location is perfect. Walking distance to many sights and around the corner from the Metro and the river. Lots of shopping nearby along with several restaurants. Laurent at the front desk was so kind and helpful. Rooms are modern and comfortable. This is our third stay in Paris and this hotel is our favorite by far.

Perfect location in district 1. Only 30 minute to travel by train (RER) from the airport (terminal 3) to the Metro/trainstation Chatelet-Les Halles which is 2 minute walk to the hotel. 2 minute walk to the Sein, 5 minute to the Louvre. No gym but minibar, small but clean rooms, didn't try the breakfast at the hotel. I may consider... More

We recently stayed in this hotel for one night and it was perfectly adequate for our needs, we had a nice clean room and found the staff extremely personable and friendly. It is very close to the Metro station and an idea base for exploring Paris, close by is the river Seine, the Notre Dame, the Louvre as well as... More

We have not stayed in this hotel, however I would like to thank the staff for their assistance. Our daughter was stranded in central Paris on the evening/night of 25th June this year due to a sudden rail and taxi strike. After a fruitless search for taxis, for police, for some kind of help, we suggested she try a hotel.... More

This hotel is clean and close to the Louvre, Notre Dame, cafes and shops. But the hotel is not perfect. Some of the staff were pleasant. Others were downright rude. The petit dejeuner in the basement is average and is not complimentary. The shower has no shower curtain or shower door. Water flies around everywhere--even leaking out of the bathroom... More

I've just returned home today after a 3 night stay in Paris at this hotel. I've been to Paris quite a few times before but this was my boyfriends first trip and I think it's fair to say this hotel helped him fall in love with Paris From Gare du Nord it's very straight forward on the metro and only... Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
