This hotel has a great location about a 1 minute walk from Madeleine Metro station, a useful link to three Metro lines. Easy walking distance to the Seine, the Louvre and the Jardin des Tuileries. The hotel rooms are well appointed and clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The decor is great fun with a music/movie theme throughout... More

I recently stayed at the Hotel du Triangle D'or for a night while in Paris on business. This is a smart looking boutique hotel well located in the 9eme arrondissement within easy walking distance of some of Paris' most famous landmarks designed in a Jazz bar type style, with each floor influenced by a specific artist. I was greeted warmly... More

Selected this hotel in part through Tripadvisor reviews, and the high ratings are 100% justified. Firstly, its in a very convenient location. Its on a nice, quiet street, yet close to most of the central areas, easy walking distance for all the key sights, as well as the business areas. The hotel itself was great. Firstly, the front desk staff... More

Spent a couple of nights in this hotel in April 2013. Very nice hotel, very clean (small rooms though, but it's Paris). We could do everything by foot, walked to the Louvre, Opera etc. NIce breakfast and friendly staff.

Good points: - Modern facilities and newly designed interiors - Room space was sufficient - Hospitable and helpful reception staff - Near shopping area, grocery, cafes, ATM, and Metro - Fast internet No complaints about the hotel. Restaurants nearby are not really to my liking but that's a personal taste.

Triangle d'Or is a boutique hotel near Madeleine and Opera. It's decorated around a music theme. The staff are friendly and service good, something not taken for granted in Paris. Rooms are not large, but big enough, clean and with everything a traveller needs. Breakfast is adequate. If you are looking for a decent and inexpensive (by Paris standars) hotel... More

very nice, clean, modern and cheap hotel in this expensive area of Paris. Warm welcome, little but nice room. All you need is present (except for the coffee machine in the room, but this is not always a requirement). This old typical parisian house has successfully been refurbished and transformed. I'll definitely come back.

Nice hotel, although a little cramped but very cozy. The service is nice and they are all very polite. Extremely clean. The location is in the center and everything is accessible on foot.definitely recommend it.

The concept of this hotel is built around musical themes and every room is dedicated to a musician. Every room has some musical instruments hidden in the interior (drums, flight cases) which gives the hotel a very nice vibe. Its location is superb just around the corner from L'Olympia which makes it an excellent choice if you're looking for a... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
