Hotel itself is nice. Room was tiny, but clean. Minimal storage. Modern bathroom with tub and shower combo. Found the neighborhood a little seedy for my taste. Close to metro stop, not far from a train station, Close to some quite good restaurants. Serve a nice continental breakfast each morning for a reasonable price. Very near the interesting area of... Over the years I've stayed everywhere in Paris from historic five star palaces (Le Grand Hotel) to sub-100 euro a night bargains (Hi-Matic), but this is my favorite place that I've stayed. I spent six nights here on a recent trip to Paris and absolutely loved it. The location is really perfect. The 9eme is walking distance from major tourist... More

We spent three nights here in April for my birthday and I absolutely loved it. The hotel is only a 25 minute walk from the Gare du Nord, and the hotel is on a quiet street in Saint Georges, a cosy neighbourhood tucked away between the Opera Quarter and Montmartre. The metro was just around the corner from the hotel,... More

The hotel is aptly located near the saint georges metro which is a 45 second walk. Added advantage being so close to the metro is a charming bistro just on the corner to welcome you to this district and Paris so to say. The reception is charming and well furnished with useful coffee table books in English , sink in... More

We were recommended this hotel by a colleague of my wife and as it was to celebrate my 65th birthday we booked it without giving it much thought. What a joy it was! Very convenient for the whole of Paris but quiet too! The room was lovely, the staff delightful and the breakfasts were delicious!

This hotel is a good location, quite and lovely room. Badly let down by staff, room was not cleaned properly, dirty cups , bins left in basin in bathroom and no replenishment of water or coffee"! I was staying in a suite but staff told me that only one bottle of water and two coffee pods for a two day... More

Dear Ambie C, I'm very concern about what it seems to be an "incident" for us. All the staff here is very attentive to guests as you may read on previous reviews below. Cleanliness is an every day goal for us and I feel very sorry if the maid forgot to finalize the cleaning service. I would remind it to... More

We enjoyed our stay a lot. With cozy room, nice view, helpful and smiled staff - just the way I imagined our stay in Paris. Next time we stay in Paris, we will chose the same hotel for sure. I highly recommend it.

Set in a side street five minutes walk from St Georges metro station and only ten minutes away from the bottom of the steps (or funicular) up to Sacré Coeur, this is a quietly but conveniently situated hotel. The decor throughout is modern and stylish, lots of white, lots of quirky touches. Charming. The rooms are comparatively spacious for Paris... More

Hotel Arvor Saint Georges was a delightful place to spend the nights during our five days in Paris. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is extra, but it is worth the price if you reserve it in advance. It can be difficult to find breakfast near the hotel. The bread, cereal, fruit and juice were all of top... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
