We stayed here for 3 nights in April and would recommend this small, stylish hotel as a reasonably priced option in Paris. Our room was very small but fine for our short stay. We were delighted to spy the bright lights of the Eiffel Tower from our window when we arrived at night and we could see the top of... More

Dear Lotty24, Many thanks for your comment on this website. It has been a pleasure to welcome you. You're right saying that we can see the Eiffel tower from rooms from the 4th floor! Shower curtains shouldn't be a problem anymore really soon, please apologies us for this. Kind Regards, Christophe Falaise More

had a nice stay here. staff are very helpful and friendly. rooms are small but clean and cosy. wi-fi signal could have been better, I think this has to do with the location of our room. would be good to add a shower curtain though, difficult not to get the place wet..

Nice small hotel. Good location but main plus is the staff, really helpful and welcoming. Very clean, small bar and quiet at night. Nearby area is questionable ie red light area but hotel is far enough away not to trouble you , unless you want that nightlife !

Dear Paul S from Leeds, Thank you again for visiting us during your stay in Paris. Pigalle district with the moulin rouge is not far away, you're right but we are far enough to avoid the noise of this lively area at night. We really like our quiet and quaint street. Cleanliness is an everyday goal for us. We hope... More

First and foremost, the best quality of the hotel was the friendly and helpful staff - extremely welcoming upon arrival and providing local and tailored advice throughout our stay. The common area was very pleasant, especially to enjoy a quiet drink before heading out and arriving home from an evening out. The room was comfortable (remember to be realistic when... More

We had a very good stay here and would come again - it was a spacious and comfortable room and the room was very quiet, in a side street but convenient for the Metro. The entrance and breakfast areas are also spacious and full of light.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel. We had a spacious room on the top floor with a great view over the roof tops. It was clean and quiet with friendly, accommodating staff. Breakfast was continental and delicious, with the added bonus of afternoon tea and cake being available if wanted. Great location for Montmatre... More

We were well-received by the very friendly, helpful and forthcoming staff who all speak both English and (obviously) French. The room was a bit small for a 'superior' room but comfortable, airy and well-lit. The bathroom was also small but had a bathtub and was overall very clean. Beds were very comfortable and we liked the spacious wardrobe. The downside... More

Hotel itself is nice. Room was tiny, but clean. Minimal storage. Modern bathroom with tub and shower combo. Found the neighborhood a little seedy for my taste. Over the years I've stayed everywhere in Paris from historic five star palaces (Le Grand Hotel) to sub-100 euro a night bargains (Hi-Matic), but this is my favorite place that I've stayed. I spent six nights here on a recent trip to Paris and absolutely loved it. The location is really perfect. The 9eme is walking distance from major tourist... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
