We stayed here during Summer - we have 4 children so we needed 3 rooms for the 6 of us. This is expensive anywhere in Paris, but it was money well spent at this charming hotel. Lucked into this hotel after our original choice was under renovation. As others have noted, the rooms are small but that didn't bother us and the attentive staff and other details more than made up for it. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed it very much. The room was nicely appointed but very small. The closet was tiny and there was no other storage for clothes or luggage. I stayed at the Esprit Saint Germain in February 2007. Eventhough the hotel was quiet empty at that time, I really didn't like this place. The rates are above all very expensive for what it is (small rooms, amenities unknown) The hotel is to modern and to dark. I just returned from a 6 night stay with my daughter. It was perfect. Perfect location, perfect rooms ( albeit small!!), wonderful amenities. As posted before the extra touches were quite special and made the stay very comfortable. A few minor comments... there is construction in progress on both sides of the building so there is some noise and hammering... more
