This hotel is located a half a block from the Lyon train and is a great place to stay overnight when one has to catch a train early in the morning. I had worked during the week in northern France and was taking the high speed train to Barcelona for the weekend.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Gare de Lyon and we had only one night in Paris between flying in from Australia and catching a train south. Very happy with our choice. The clean, comfortable room was all that we needed for a good night's rest and we found a wonderful restaurant (L'Aubergeade) nearby. Very convenient to... More

We spent 1 night in this hotel in December, for the 3rd time already. I still love this hotel! Rooms are spacious and clean, the bathroom is spotless and the shower is great. The beds are big and spacious, but also a little bit hard. Beside that, great room! Staff is very friendly, especially the wonderful lady who is always... More

Stayed 2 nights with my friends. We got a room with 3 single beds. Room was okay, indeed 2 stars level. Anyway in Paris you just need to go back to the hotel and sleep so this hotel was very reasonable for us. It's literary in front of the Gare de Lyon and it was very convenient. You can find... More

Recently returned (more than 3 visits) to Hotel Palym and am never disappointed. The rooms aren't large, but they are clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Great value for a good night's sleep and the location is great - you can cross the street from the Gare de Lyon and be in the hotel lobby. Staff is helpful and friendly.

This hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from the train and metro station. I had no great expectations as I've been to many hotels close to train stations in Paris and was very often disappointed. This hotel is a good exception, the room are nice and clean (quite small though) and the service was good as well. And... More

I like the area near the Lyons station, he is safe and not so expensive, as other districts of Paris. Everywhere it is possible to reach on foot or by the subway - a direct line to Louvre and other sights. The personnel of hotel very friendly, competent also speaks English. The Palym hotel isn't bad, but there are some negative... More

My second time staying here. Mainly due to the great location near a metro and Gare de Lyon (which I had to use). Overall the room was clean and pleasant although the double bed was a tad small for two. The room I had had a balcony and it was nice, albeit you are looking out at someone else's apartment.... My family and I stayed here for five nights in September and chose this hotel for close location to gare de Lyon station, metro station and drop off point for les cars from cdg airport. For this reason the location was superb. Hotel is a quaint Parisian hotel and was a delight to stay in. The reception staff were extremely... More

The hotel palym was an ideal location for the gare de lyon, but a long walk from the attractions of paris. We knew this from a previous visit because we like walking and exploring. The reception was friendly but our room was not as nice as last year. Breakfast was poor and did not have a enough variety on offer.... More
