Don't be shy when looking at the front of the hotel ( it needs a face lift in 2015), inside, everything is perfect for good value. The staff is helpful and smiling, my room on the 6th floor was small but extremely clean and well-equipped. The double bed was very comfortable /and my back is fragile/ the bathroom was new... More

This hotel is located 2 minutes from Gare de Lyon - right across the street. The rooms were a good size, bathroom spotless. The staff are nice but not overly friendly. the Wifi is free - that's good news ! There is a breakfast for 10 Euros. You can easily go to the L'Europeen brasserie at the corner for a... More

My husband and I stayed 2 nights in late January because we wanted to be near Gare d'Lyon station for our departure, and for eating at Le Train Bleu, also at the station. We paid EUR85 each night and got a quiet, attractive room with very comfortable bed. It overlooked a courtyard so was extremely quiet, complete with heavy drapes... More

I stayed 4 nights this February in a standard room. Found the hotel clean with a pleasant enough decor ..nice colour scheme, high ceilings. Lift and free WiFi worked well. There was no computer available to guests. Staff were courteous and helpful, made a few phone calls to restaurants for me and adjusted the heating. My room was a bit... More

Small but clean boutique hotel right across the street from Gare de Lyon. Public transportation was convenient to get around Paris. Cafes, restaurants nearby & a good size market only a couple blocks away.

(+) near Gare de Lyon and public transport, reasonable prices, clean- the french way... (--) basic rooms good for just for a night, security in hotel doubtful, very unfriendly reception. There are much better hotels in Paris!

This hotel is located a half a block from the Lyon train and is a great place to stay overnight when one has to catch a train early in the morning. I had worked during the week in northern France and was taking the high speed train to Barcelona for the weekend.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to Gare de Lyon and we had only one night in Paris between flying in from Australia and catching a train south. Very happy with our choice. The clean, comfortable room was all that we needed for a good night's rest and we found a wonderful restaurant (L'Aubergeade) nearby. Very convenient to... More

We spent 1 night in this hotel in December, for the 3rd time already. I still love this hotel! Rooms are spacious and clean, the bathroom is spotless and the shower is great. The beds are big and spacious, but also a little bit hard. Beside that, great room! Staff is very friendly, especially the wonderful lady who is always... More

Stayed 2 nights with my friends. We got a room with 3 single beds. Room was okay, indeed 2 stars level. Anyway in Paris you just need to go back to the hotel and sleep so this hotel was very reasonable for us. It's literary in front of the Gare de Lyon and it was very convenient. You can find... More

Staying in Bercy / Nation

Neighborhood Profile
Bercy / Nation
Nestled between the Seine, Bastille, and Père Lachaise lies a peaceful side of town where wide avenues and impressive buildings accompany green spaces and small parks. Landscaped havens are plentiful, from the Bercy Park to La Coulée Verte and most impressively the Bois de Vincennes, which even contains a medieval castle on its doorstep. For an escape from the masses head to this calming neighborhood where real Parisians make their homes.
