Do not stay at this hotel. I have zero idea how this received some award. It somehow is trying to be trendy and cool but accomplishes neither! It's dark, dirty and depressing!! The halls in the hotel are kept extremely dark which I assume is to hide the dirt! Even the breakfast area is kept fairly dark. This is the... More

I opted to treat my friends and I to a junior suite to celebrate recent happenings in our lives and I figured this place would be perfect. It is not. Very shabby, broken everything, elevator numbers, door (fingerprint what??) walls are not white and the edging is nasty, dirty, broken and terribly in need of a paint job, keeping. They've... More

Very bling and different. The restaurant was closed when we were there. Bed very comfortable. Public areas limited and location not that good. There are other hotels in Paris that I prefer. Was close to the Bastille Opera where we went the night we stopped.

On the internet site all the photos looked great! In reality it wasn't so flashy. The staff were friendly, my husband spoke french though which i think helped. We did have an unexpected visitor, a staff member just opened the door and came in without knocking! The concierges were very helpful and nice. Our climate control didn't work, we later... More

Sleek modern design abounds and the rooms are minimalist yet very comfortable, and a decent size for Paris. Be prepared for some very dark corridors! Hotel is on a busy road and though the double glazing is good, if you are on the street side you will hear the traffic - not for sensitive sleepers. Presumably the rooms at the... More

I booked this through Secret Escapes and was more than pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff, the size and comfort of the room and the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. the breakfasts were far better than expected and were served until midday which made for a leisurely start to the day. We ate in the restaurant on one... More

A really mixed bag here. This hotel on pictures look amazing, but the reality is quite different. The hotel tends to be understaffed (5 minutes waiting for the check-in to happen, as the clerk was doubling as concierge... and was busing doing the latter....), One lift working only (in the front part of the hotel) where you also had to... I stayed here in November 2011 on business, and I wish I have not tried out the sister hotel (Kube) but booked here another week. LOCATION The hotel is very close to Republique and also at least another 2 metro stations (I would suggest going to one of these, since Republique can be a bit daunting, especially in the mornings).... We stayed at the Murano for New Year's eve. The design of the hotel is great especially the lobby and restaurant. We had booked a higher range room so the room we had was on the top floor and was very roomy (for Paris). The decoration was very modern and stylish. That's the good news. Now the bad: - we... More
