Already before we left, the staff at the hotel was very helpful to answer any practical questions I had, from getting to Disneyland to which metro ticket it was smart to buy. We had a studio(appartement) with everything we needed to make food. They don`t serve breakfast, but not far to shops, and there is a great boulangerie at the... More

The location was great for the things we wanted to do and the staff could not have been more helpful however, I did find the room very compact and the bathroom was tiny too although the shower is a good size. The room was spotless and cleaned daily. It was ok for a weekend visit but I would not have... More

I second the clean, comfortable, functional guests' opinions. ..., although, be a bit careful on the wooden stairs (not part of the remodel). My niece and I had a great stay; they provided her with a hair dryer, and me with a second Wi-Fi account, free of charge, no questions asked. Taxi?? It's walking distance from both the Me'nilmontant and... More

Went here for a 3 day break in Paris around my wifes birthday, and like trying different areas. This is just round the corner (walking distance) from Père Lachaise, which is a fascinating cemetery to walk around. The hotel is in a gated area off an alley, which connects to a main road that has a large market at the... More

I have been traveling Europe for two months and this is the worst hotel that I have stayed in. While the rooms were okay (bed, decent bathroom, etc), the location was awful (seemed to be dangerous and not a safe place to be at night) and we were forced to take a taxi everywhere. The worst part of the hotel... More

Our room was clean, comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. It is situated near Menilmontant and not as centrally as displayed on the map on Tripadvisor! There are some great reasonably priced couscous restaurants nearby and a bakery for breakfast at the end of the road. A good base from which to explore Paris. Would stay again.

I just needed a reasonably priced hotel for a 2-day visit to Paris. My room in Hotel de l'Horloge was small but comfortable. Even included a kitchenette which I didn't really need. Also close to Metro, so suited me very well. Main reason for this review is that the manager-on-duty was super helpful. The hotel is situated in a gated... More
