Booked this apartment and was a little worried when I looked at some of the reviews! BUT! Dont believe everything you read! These apartments are FAB! If you are looking for budget apartments in the centre of paris you can't go wrong! We stayed in a studio apartment, it was clean and modern and comfortable, great little bathroom, comfortable beds... More

Stayed here for 5 days in August. Great location, a few steps from the Metro - around the corner there are a few places to eat and a Monoprix for shopping. The room was comfortable and the kitchen was a good size and stocked with dishes. The building was secured with a keypad for entry and another for accessing the... More

Booked a studio apartment here end of October and was really happy with the way it all worked out. the price was reasonable so we were not expecting a luxury apartment. It was more like a big hotel room but it was clean and comfy. The little kitchen was great and we ate many meals here after a long day... More

I love this place - cosy and great location just across the Jardin des Plantes and the Natural History Museum. Less than 1 min to the Metro and so lovely. The staff despite located at another location made my day by being so helpful and lovely. They spoke perfect English and helped me in my requests. Thanks girls! My wife... More

We rented 2 apartments #505 and 506 for 4 nights. The website did not show the current condition of the building or the apartments or I never would have booked it. The carpets in the hall were filthy, the paint was peeling off the wall, the wood floor in 1 apt.was black from water damage, the furniture was not the... More

A good choice to avoid some of the outrageous hotel prices in Paris and the expensive food. We were able to cook breakfast and make nice picnics with the apartment facilities: stove top, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker and adequate crockery and utensils. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was adequate. Apartment was clean on arrival. Building was secure, with... More

Stayed for one week, May 2014. Inconvenient having to pick up the key elsewhere. Grotty entrance and lift. Small studio room clean enough and good bed however only a high bench with high stools to sit on (not used) - no other seats/chairs so had to sit on the bed. Shower needs re-grouting as looks dirty. Water did not drain... More

Very happy with our stay here. The apartment is nicely decorated, has a good view over the natural history museum (and their exhibition of dinosaurs) and is located just next to the beautiful botanical garden. It's ideal if you want some more space and possibility to do some light cooking, while still having most conveniences of a hotel. I can... More

So pleased we found this apartment for our first trip abroad with our 5 month old baby! Situated in the centre of Paris, it was easy to get to by metro and 2 mins away from Gare d'Austerlitz. Room was clean and had modern decor, and at night room was quiet and area felt safe. Well equipped kitchen and good... More

Stayed here twice, in september and before during NYE 2012! The value for money is the best I've come across! Clean rooms, wonderful beds and so nice in comparison to hotels to make your one decision when to go home (or not to at all!). Beautifully located next to the botanic gardens and near the metro (Gare d'Austerlitz just across... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
