My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Atmospheres. Near the Pl. Maubert metro stop, about a 10 minute walk from Blvd. St. Michel metro & train stop and Notre Dame, a five-minute walk from the Parthenon, and about a 15 minute walk to the Luxembourg Gardens. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the staff... More

My daughter and I stayed at Hotel Atmosphere for 6 nights. Our room had a balcony overlooking the street and was clean and comfortable. The hotel location is fantastic and the interior style of the property is contemporary and French and feels good. I will not hesitate to recommend the hotel to friends and family. Thanks Taleb!

My wife, young daughter and I stayed at the Hotel Atmospheres just after Easter, we were extremely pleased with our choice. This hotel is located in a fabulous area a few streets back from Notre Dame and the Seine, there are lots of small cobbled streets with, restaurants, bars, shops and street traders nearby which was really pleasant to walk... Perfect for us (1 adult and a 8 year old): location near to metro and Notre Dame, a clean and quite big room, friendly staff. We really enjoyed our visit in Paris and Hotel Atmosphere! Luxemburg park and RER-train (train to airport) quite near.

Loved this hotel! The location is great - close to the left bank, walking distance from the River Seine and Notre Dame, and in amongst the bars and restaurants of the Latin Quarter (turn right out of the hotel, right again and there are half a dozen bars right there). Our room (141) was in the "Notre Dame" block, overlooking... More

Many thanks for a delightful stay. Quiet tasteful room, elegant quartier latin ambiente, unintrusive, helpful hosts. Genuine cafe creme or cappuccino at breakfast would have made the "wow" complete. Those of us who find filter and capsule coffee undrinkable have to make do with luscious freshly squeezed OJ and an impressive organic tea selection. We will return!

We booked the room as part of an Orbitz prepaid reservation. I am never one to back out of a deal, but by the time we stayed here rooms, including mine, were going for about half the rate I prepaid (I paid 300 Euro/nt). So unfortunately I am bumping the rating down based on lack of value. Usually small hotels... More

I live in Paris for 3 years, but this time I decided to join american friends during their stay at the Atmospheres hotel. I only stayed one night but I loved it.I had a room on the 5th floor with a splendid view on rue des Ecoles: we drank Champagne on the balcony at sunset, it was fun and great.The... More

this hotel worked out as good value over 5 nights - expensive over the weekend but when you're a good 6 iron from Notre Dame it should be that expensive. Close to lots of lovely restaurants around the corner close to the university as well as accessible to the metro etc. A really lovely place with some very nice staff... More

This place offers good value for money with modern rooms and interior. The receptionists are helpful and friendly. Generally speaking hotel rooms in Paris are small. So was ours, but maybe they have more spacious rooms on the other floors. The Wi-Fi was excellent. Breakfast wasn't included in our stay. They charged 16 Euros for the buffet and 9 Euro... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
