My husband and I stayed here for a week and loved it. The hotel is in a fantastic location- couldn't think of it being in a better spot. Not only is the hotel close to Notre Dame, Rue St Germain St, the Parc du Luxembourg, several major Metro transfer stations and RER stations, but its also a quick and romantic... More

Hotel Atmospheres is a wonderful little hotel in the heart Paris Hotel staff were friendly and courteous. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a suite. Suite was a little tired but, very nice. Located in the Latin quarter and in close proximity of Notre dame. Had the full breakfast buffet once and it was very nice. a special thanks goes... More

Title says it all. We made the reservation over the phone and requested a balcony on the street. The woman was very friendly and accomodating. She asked we follow up the phone call with an email to confirm, which we did. We arrived and our room was ready, as requested. Room 123 had a balcony over the street. Although the... More

From the time of check-in to check out the staff were extremely helpful. The front desk staff were very knowledgable especially Marjorie. Cleaning staff did a great job. Everything was close to the hotel and the various restaurants were reasonable and delicious. We will definitely visit again. Located close to Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter. Easy walk to hop... This hotel used to be the Hotel Sully where we stayed several times. Wow or Wow has it been changed. New owners, completely redone, very modern, beautiful photography displayed everywhere. Great fitness center with sauna and a massage room. We had free wifi. Good breakfast buffet and charming breakfast room. We had room 232 on third floor. It had plenty... More

Good location nearby ok restaurants for a quick meal and the Latin Quarter. Clean room, friendly service. Small rooms though, no space to support a bit of working on the laptop. Was however charmed by the Honesty bar in the lobby area, based on a purely self service concept.

My husband and I stayed here for a belated 20 yr anniversary trip. The hotel is in a good location. It's a very easy walk to attractions. There are several restaurants nearby and within an easy walking distance. There is a small outdoor market just down the street. The staff were very friendly. We had room 111, which is on... More

We loved this hotel. The location (in the Latin Quarter) cannot be beat. Close to restaurants, Notre Dame, the RER, the subway, the Pantheon, etc...it was superb. Staff were amazing..they always greeted you with a smile and a welcome. I unfortunately became sick (kidney stones) and the hotel called a doctor to my room. After he left, they called to... More

Stayed three solo nights at Hotel Atmospheres on a quick trip. Loved the decor, great service and awesome location. My rate (booked on the hotel website) included breakfast, which was basic fare of pastries, cheese, eggs coffee, juice, etc. The breakfast was satisfying and sitting in the lounge to enjoy it was a great start to each day.The rooms are... I picked this hotel because of its location and the positive reviews. They were well-deserved. The area itself is pretty quiet but only a few blocks away from amazing sights, lovely cafes, and easy transportation access. Aside from the train, one of the main hubs for the double-decker tour bus was was the cathedral, so we were able to hop... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
