I came across this hotel while searching for a place to stay near one my favorite places to eat in Paris. From the moment I booked it has been a fantastic ride. After receiving a warm thank you note email from the manager Diane Blondet I told her I was arriving from Dubai at 6am and could I get in... More

The entrance can be confusing. It looks like a normal old parisian appartement building - no panic, go to the bell, choose the option for the hotel Oscar and ring the bell. Walk up to the first floor, or take the old style lift and you are there. The hotel receptionist anyway came down to help with the luggage. The... More

I read the reviews and thought I would the hotel a try. When we arrived I just couldn't reconcile the good reviews with what we encountered. For starters, this is not a hotel. This is a hostel with a bathroom. We arrived with instructions to look for a small sign on the side of what would look like an office... More

I found the hotel through search engine as a four star hotel and I booked it for a night. I arrived the address and didn't see the hotel and I called the hotel where they said that they will come. A last came from the building door and escorted us to the first floor apartment and this was the hotel.... More

Absolutely wonderful location, staff, and rooms. Close proximity to metro, Arc de Triomphe and Champs Élysées. Staff are courteous, and very helpful. Food market right next door. Would stay here if I am lucky enough to visit Paris again .

I can not say enough about how wonderful this little boutique hotel was. A total of 5 rooms, it's is privacy and intimacy at it's best. Located in the heart of Paris, from the moment you walk in front of the building, you get a sense of old french beauty. Even though you are on the second floor, the old... More

Location is fantastic if you need to be in this area, most likely for business. Entry into the building is not shown anywhere so one needs to ask the hotel in advance to explain. Inside the building it's quite easy. Rooms - hotel has only a handful of rooms. I stayed in the one facing Rue Marbeuff (Varlaine). I did... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Hotel Oscar for 3 nights in september. On arrival I was not to impressed as it looked like i was walking in to a apartment complex, and coming in to reception it was very small, and I then found out the hotel only has 5-6 rooms! BUT!! Staff was super friendly and the room... More

Staying in Champs-Elysees

Neighborhood Profile
Champs-Elysees
This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.
