To start the "elevator" is so small that I got stuck with a small backpack on my shoulder. So forgot about bringing up your big suitcase. It was confirmed that I was not the only one to have problem with the elevator when clients at 4am had to carry down their suitcases in the stairs and banged them so hard... More

Quality for money!!.........without any doubt the best location you can get in St Germain! Good vibe, comfortable rooms and a decent price, no complaints what so ever! Right in the heart of one of the best locations of Paris, Boulevard St Germain, Rue de Canettes, Rue du Four etc! Friendly service and good breakfast in bed!

You won't be disappointed when choosing this hotel. It has a fantastic location...near St. Sulpice Church, shopping and lots of great cafes nearby. It is reasonably priced (for Paris). . .and very clean and comfortable. The room was rather large for Europe and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious. One can also get a continental breakfast for 13 Euros per person.... More

We stayed in this hotel this month, the staff were lovely and it was located within walking distance of The Seine, The Louvre, The Champs élysées, Cafés etc however the room was tiny and the lift can really only fit a single person in it. We were on the 6th floor and used the stairs most of the time. Would... More

The Saint Sulpice area is close to many restaurants and pubs and within easy walking distance to many major sites and galleries. We booked the cheapest room available so it was small (and when we travel we tend to spread out!) - but clean. The more expensive rooms offered more room. The lift is really small but does the job!... More

I love this hotel. The area of Saint-Germaine-de-Pres is very nice and easy to walk about in, even at night time coming back from the restaurant, it was fine. The hotel is very quaint with nice rooms and a tiny lift, but adequate. The lounge, where breakfast is served is great, with it s red walls and oriental furniture ,... More

The hotel staff were unbelievable courteous and friendly. Most speak multiple languages, all recommendations by staff were excellent. Bathroom was huge, beds were very comfortable and they had nice crisp linens. Yes it really is the worlds smallest elevator. By the way when windows and drapes are closed, don't hear a thing. Again, can't thank Pilar or Johan enough they... More

Love this hotel, perfect location 2 minutes to the metro, 1 minute to the bus stop, views of the Cathedral Saint Suplice from the street view rooms, We were on the 6th floor, lovely room with balcony street side, traffic noise in the morning but we did not mind as we were up early to take in all the wonderful... Nice and clean accommodation. Room small but not teeny. The elevator is however the smallest one I have been it. So close to many small restaurant and little shops. Hotel staff very nice. I messed up the code on the room safe and they immediately sent someone up to open it for me. Location and price will bring me back... More

Literally a block from the Paris Metro (St Sulpice) at one end and Eglise St Sulpice at the other this lovely little hotel is also within walking distance of some of Paris' best boutique shopping! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful after the shops closed, even on the weekends. The wi-fi signal was... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
