My 17 year old son and i had the great pleasure of staying at the Hotel Observatoire, for 10 days in August. What a special place this hotel is. The location, across from Luxembourg Gardens and at the RER stop is perfect for both metro and bus travel as well as within walking distance to many main sites. Our twin... More

Great location (close to old Paris, yet away from craziness) . Stayed 5 nights. Staff was exemptional, room was perfect everyday, breakfast fantastic. There is also a great restaurant (Les Papilles) a block away! Will return when again in Paris. Merci

The room was larger than most Paris hotel rooms and the bathroom was large with excellent shower. The most impressive aspect was the most comfortable Queen-size bed, pillow and sheets that I have ever had in any hotel ANYWHERE in the world. Totally unexpected and welcome after a full day of sight-seeing. Stayed for 7 nights. The front desk was... More

This is a quaint boutique hotel stayed there for one night. Good location. Nice view from window. Reasonably priced and not far to walk for main transport links. Eyes on pillows a bit off putting when going to bed :o) would stay here again. Restaurant next door has reasonable menu.

Although our room was small,it was decorated beautifully and the bed one of the most comfortable I have slept on.The bathroom was larger than I had expected and I really appreciated the size of the shower and what great water pressure. Although there was a limited choice at the breakfast on offer, the food available was fresh and tasty. The location... More

This is a great value for money hotel in Paris in the 6th. The service is outstanding and everyone at the hotel is quite helpful and attentive. The only negative and it really is quite a minimal negative is that the hotel rooms are quite small, and it was difficult to fit our two suitcases in the room. Regardless, this... More

My wife, son and I stayed three nights in a family room and found this to be an ideal base for sight-seeing in Paris. We purchased a carnet of metro tickets, but ended up not using them because we walked everywhere. The entrance to the Luxembourg RER station, with a direct rail connection to Charles de Gaulle airport and the... More

The hotel is comfortable, with plush beds, excellent showers and a wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. A mix up with a reservation for the family room was easily accommodated to our great satisfaction. The front desk was always on-hand and on top of all guests needs. There were always plenty of other people besides us stopping to ask for directions,... More

Spent five days at this fabulous boutique hotel in a great location across from Luxembourg Gardens, and walking distance (or catch the bus that comes by every 10 minutes) to many 'must see' sites. Catch the RER train from CDG airport, no transfers needed, and arrive just down the street from the hotel. Room was cozy and clean with the... More
