First, some repeats: the hotel is a conveniently located straight shot from the RER station and on the wonderful Blvd. St. Michel, a short walk form the Jardins Luxembourg and the Seine, Pont Neuf, Notre Dame and the Sorbonne. We loved our stay at the Hotel Observatoire Luxembourg. The staff was very helpful. It was an ideal location in the Latin Quarter, and really close to the metro. more

This hotel is perfectly located - it was easy to get there on the RER from CDG airport. We stayed there a week - had a corner room on the second floor. The room was big enough for 2. There is no excuse for a dirty bathroom. It was apparently clean. So I was horrified when I realized the shower wall was plastered with long black hair from the previous occupier. Shocking... We've all heard how unfriendly Parisians can be to Americans. My previous visits to Paris supported this claim. My experience at this hotel has made me think it is no longer true. Great hotel in a great location, great access to Metro Train/Bus/RER. Very friendly, English speaking staff, good sized rooms (for Parisian standards), extremely clean and comfy, nicely decorated non-smoking rooms with garden views. located near Jardin du Luxembourg, middle of town, the staff are very nice and helpfull, good breakfast and the rooms a bit small but very comfortable and convenient, and with A.C more

When we first arrived at 2pm our room was not yet ready. Due to the late check out the hotel offers this is understandable. The staff were very apologetic and helpful in holding our bags for us. When we eventually got into our room it at first didn't strike me as the glamorous pictures I had seen on the website... more
