Hotel was what it says on the tin.Rooms smaller than I expected ideal location though, some of t he staff were very helpful even though we had read reviews the access was difficult for us because one of our party used a wheelchair but was able to walk with assistance but we then had to struggle to carry the wheelchair... It was the smallest room I've ever stayed in but it had everything I needed for a few days in Paris, in fact it was perfectly located as just metres from Chatelet (metro + RER), in the heart of restaurants galore and within walking distance of countless 'must see' sites.;

Small, relatively inexpensive hotel which I picked for its convenience to the Les Halles RER/Metro station ( one stop from Gare du Nord). Reception etc. OK, I didn't have breakfast, and the room was the usual small space for big cities. Rooms look out onto a pedestrian area and restaurant area which is probably noisy in the summer months when... More

Hotel in a great location and we found the service very helpful and efficient, with the exception of some mix up with a credit card payment when we were leaving. The bedroom was very small, but I had a great sleep, very comfy bed and pillows. The room and bathroom were clean and well stocked with toiletries. Would stay here... More

If you want a non smoking hotel this is not for you. It was so bad we left early and they still charged us for the remaining days. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in in Paris. But for smokers, who do not mind the smell, it is close to the metro.

I loved the location of the Hotel which is literally 20 meters away from a very big metro station. Unfortunately the staff aren't usually very friendly, speak poor english and don't seem to be willing to help. There is no lift from ground floor to reception so you will have to climb the narrow stairs with your luggage. Wifi internet... More

Stayed 3 nights at Agora in June 2014 & were very happy with location - just off rue de germain - & a block from the Pantheon (good "marker") & all the cafes etc of the Latin Qrter within walking distance. Our 2nd visit to Paris, & not needing to visit the usual attractions, we enjoyed being able to wander... More

Location is good but that's about as good as it gets. Some of the staff here are unhelpful and aloof. Average breakfast worse still you have to pay supplements for some scrambled egg! There are better hotels in the area. Avoid

I stayed here with my girlfriend for three nights in August 2014. The small room was on the top (sixth) floor and although this is only a two-star hotel it was clean, tidy and reasonably equipped. The decor was showing some signs of wear but nothing too bad. The bed linen and towels seemed perfectly clean. To get to the... More

this hotel was pretty much in the perfect area, 2 seconds walk from a large RER (great if going to disneyland) and metro station, and was surrounded by bars and restaurants. also was easy to walk to the notre dame and even further (one day we walked all the way to the eiffel tower and champs l'elysees). the room was... Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
