The rooms are cleaned daily & beds are comfy. The staff were nice & very obliging.Very very noisy at night & the stairs as you walk in are a nightmare to be greeted by as you walk in with heavy luggage.(reception is on the first floor) The wifi was slow & dropped out a lot.The hotel is adequate for a short... I had written quite a long review but seems to have disappeared To make the story short: the location is one of the best The rooms are tidy but ridiculously small for two people ( no air conditioning ) The wifi was free but such a bother to get online every ten minutes At one point it wasn't working at... In this hotel you will pay about the location, which really good regarding sight seeing in Paris. My room was small, but I wasn't expecting anything else for the price. There is no breakfast, and in any case better serving will be in the local coffee houses. I can recommend this hotel for singles or young couples, because of small... More

I've been to Paris before and had my fair share of extremely small, doggy places but this was not the case. We stayed in a double superior room #208 and it was great. The room was a great size and so was the bathroom. The place is nit brand new but that's to be expected. It was definitely really good... More

Yes the hotel is a bit on the old/small/cramped side... But the hotel has an amazing location and has a decent bedroom/bathroom (albeit very dated). The hotel is very transparent about what it can supply. When we arrived and I asked to change in the toilet the gentleman was very forthright that the toilet would be too small to change... More

I have chosen this hotel in a rush and without research ! I should of gone to Tripadvisor :-) !!!Fortunately I have only stayed one night but I couldn't wait to check out. It was claustrophobic, dull, dark, dirty and unfriendly. Never again.

Dingy, dirty and dark. The kind of place that makes you feel sad and unclean. Tiny room, and the beds were so short, my feet hung off the end. Noisy area. Wifi is "free" but is unusable as it is exceedingly slow and constantly logs out even during usage. No Air conditioning or even a fan. "Shower" doesn't have a... More

Honestly, this place was a dump. The shower isn't even a shower, it took us forever to figure out how to turn the lights on, and the rooms are so small there is barely enough room to walk. The decor is very ugly, and the people don't speak English well, despite what the website said. on top of this, it... More

I stayed in a triple room with my family. It was so miserable that after the first night we switched hotels. The shower head had no upper attatchment, so you had to hold it up, army style, as you washed. There's no AC OR fan. It was hot. The beds were uncomfortable and small. The room was tiny as well.... Yes, the rooms were very small. We had a triple the first 2 nights and a double the second 2. Rooms were small but neat, clean and tidy. Nice area with only pedestrian traffic and close to the metro and walking distance if you prefer to many sights. I can see it would be an issue if you have any... More

Staying in Les Halles

Neighborhood Profile
Les Halles
Historically the central iron-clad market of Paris, Les Halles has evolved architecturally since then but the pulsating energy has stayed the same. Now it houses the main shopping mall, which nestles underground surrounded by fast-food take-aways and international restaurants coupled with beautiful churches and the old commodity exchange. Parallel to it are the high-street stores of Rue de Rivoli and just parallel to that the Seine. The area bustles with faces from all continents and all ages at all times of the day. If enjoying high-street shopping with easy access to fast eateries and lively bars is on your agenda, this is the place to go.
