4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

I was in a room on the 5th floor. It was cosy but who needs loads of space?! The room appeared newly refurbished, including the good ensuite with shower. Everything was clean and tidy and worked properly. The public areas of the hotel were not as good - the carpets on the stairs and landing looked a bit tired. Service... More

it was still being renovated when I went but you could see it was going to be beautiful when finished. Our room was nice and very clean. A bit small, but who spends that much time in their room? The staff at the desk were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was okay. Especially if you liked chocolate croissants. Close to... More

The room was a bit shabby and several thing did not work properly. - On our inbound trip the reserved shuttle was not waiting for us at the airport. Luckily we had the phone number of the shuttle driver and he agreed to come to pick us (family with several luggages) some 1 hour after we arrived to airport. -... More

I have been to this hotel in 1997 as well, and I can say that the location is superb! It is a few steps from metro Grands Boulevards, close to Musee Grevin, and a walking distance from La Fayette, Printemps and Opera Garnier... Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, like Hard Rock Cafe. The staff at reception is really helpful.... More

This hotel is located in a quiet side street, my room was at the 6th floor, as I asked during the booking. The room was rather big, considering the Paris average of same level hotels, so was the bathroom. Very quiet. Wi-fi works nicely and it's free. The view from my room was non existent, except for the Sacre Coeur... More

Good central location in a side street, about 5 mins walk from the main shopping area. Lots of eateries near by and easy access to metro. Central to all main tourist spots but you will need to metro to them, which of course is very easy. Hotel is basic but clean and tidy, breakfast was basic as well, we prefer... More

Noisy, poor service (no in room telephone service for 3 days despite numerous requests), intermittent wifi, horrible breakfast and daily stand up rows between guests and staff. A horrible smelly street too full of lawless teenage delinquents selling drugs!! The only good points were the bed and nice cold air conditioning which is unusual in Paris. These were offset by... I usually come for business in Paris and I don't care that much about the hotel but this time I got very upset. First of all the hotel is in a tiny little road (cul de sac) where I seen very bad people both during day and night (not hotel fault btw...). Having said that I take the keys of... More

We booked 2 nights at this hotel when we took our Son to Paris for a few days in the Easter Holidays. The location of the hotel suited us, and we walked to all the places we wanted to see, apart from when we did a bus tour. We arrived really early & the receptionist was friendly and offered to... Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
