My second stay at ParisChambres, another wonderful visit with the lovely Anou in her beautiful apartment. This is perfectly located in a typical Parisian street within walking distance of some major Paris attractions like the Louvre, Sacre Coeur, famous shops like Galeries Lafayette and Printemps. There are also several buses and a metro very nearby, and bakeries, charcuteries around the... More

Paris Chambres and our Hostess, Anou were an excellent choice for our stay in Paris. The B&B is in a great location, close to the metro and buses. It is in an great shopping area with lots of shops and restaurants and we felt very safe. Our stay was extremely comfortable, and extremely clean.. We were well taken care of... More

We had only 3 days in Paris, which can at first be a somewhat intimidating place to navigate. However thanks to our fantastic hostess Anou, our visit to this beautiful city was everything I had ever dreamed Paris would be. She took time every morning after breakfast to help us plan the most ideal daily itinerary including use of public... More

We went to Paris for my husbands 40th birthday and after reading so many excellent reviews about Paris Chambres we decided to stay there. We weren't disappointed. It was like staying with a good friend. From the moment we arrived Anou was so welcoming and friendly. Her apartment is beautiful - tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable... More

My fiance and I visited Paris for the first time and were extremely glad we selected ParisChambres rather than a hotel. Our hostess, Anou, took extraordinary care of us, helping us to intelligently plan our site seeing trips, working out which buses and metro lines to take to easily get around the city. Because of her, we managed to see... More

We stayed as a guest of Anou for 3 days in May, at this Paris Chambres appartment in Central Paris.. At the top of 2 flights of narrow stairs we were shown into an exceptionally bright bedroom, which had a double bed and was beautifully decorated. There is a separate bath and a small lavatory both in pristine condition. Anou's... More

We wholeheartedly recommend ParisChambres as a very central base to see the real Paris. Anou is a very welcoming host. She is warm and attentive, and very proud of her beautiful apartment and beloved Paris. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, up a spiral staircase, in an inner courtyard - this makes it extremely quiet. A wonderfully simple homemade... More

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
