Overall a very good service. We had a Superior room with a small balcony superb for two persons. Spend some more money and treat yourselves with the large rooms. Close to everythnig, 4 min walk from RER B, 3 minutes to Roisybus to and from airport. 3 minutes to underground. A lot of cafes surrounding the hotel for a cup... More

Very nice hotel with an excellent location. Room was modern and bathroom had been remodeled recently. The staff was friendly and they offered free wifi. Overall, I did not spend much time at the hotel, rather out walking around the city and the Volney Opera was unbeatable for location and price. It was also one block from the Roissy Bus,... More

I loved my stay at Volney Opera Hotel. It is a small hotel, and my room was somewhat tiny (par for the course in Paris), but very clean and comfortable. The location is great, being an easy walk to several Metro stations, the beautiful Garnier Opera, the Madeline, etc. The staff were super nice, and the breakfast wonderfully stocked (which... More

The hotel offers everything you expect from a 3-star-hotel. The rooms' size is normal for Paris' standards, they are in a good condition, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the location is perfect as several metro and RER lines are close by.

A small hotel. Located close to the Opera but quiet. A small but clean room with a bathtub. Good cost benefit in Paris. May revisit.

Location is very central and well connected with subway. Very convenient to get the Roissy-Charles de Gaulle airport with bus (Roissybus) in 1 hour (11 EUR). It was very clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom with italian shower . Staff was likeable and helpful. But I was in the bedroom in the grounf floor. I arrived at 1 AM, it... More

Very convenient location, close to L'Olympia, metro, nice restaurants. Clean hotel with helpful staff. Rooms were small but when in Paris don't spend too much time in room. Bed was surprisingly comfortable.

we loved the location, very central but the street was extremely noisy in the early hours of the morning. Rubbish trucks passing by and other traffic. Good things about it was that it was clean. The people at the desk helpful and friendly. Within walking distance to big department stores, to the opera house and the metro. Surrounded by lovely... More

The location was perfect so wastage staff. The only bad thing is that the rooms are pretty small and the bathroom door Does not actually exist since there is a huge gap between the wall and the door. Staff was really good and very helpful and polite!

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
