I stayed here in November 2013 for 4 nights. It's near the Montparnasse area of Paris and tucked into a very safe residential area with lots of restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores around for options. The room itself was small but clean and had everything that I needed. The hotel was very quiet and I didn't have any issues with... More

I have visited this hotel many times during the past years and I have never been disappointed. For Paris this is a very good price for a clean hotel with a good bed and a good breakfast. Since the last redecoration the mattress and duvet have much improved. The bathroom and shower are also better than in other hotels within... More

Calm neighbourhood, you can walk around late at night, lots of nice little shops around. Clean decent room, hotel staff were polite and helpful. Close to the metro, you can find your way around easily. Breakfast is highly recommended. Wifi also good

An option for relaxed travellers. This quiet arrondisment is a possibility if you want to be near Luxemburg Gardens but not in the middle of the mess. The hotel is nice, with a good breakfast (not usual in Paris). The room is small but a comfortable bed awaits you at night! Also the WiFi works fine. The staff is friendly and... More

I love this hotel! OK, its not luxury, but by Paris prices, this one is certainly good value. It's located in the 13th Arrondisment - not an obvious place for travellers, but that's what I like about it. The hidden gems, the undiscovered little highlights etc. Rooms are a good size compared with typical Parisian hotel rooms. Very friendly, welcoming... More

The 13th arrondissement is perhaps not an obvious choice for travelers. Still, the Magendie is in a pleasant neighborhood; it's calm, yet there's no shortage of restaurants and cafés. The Magendie itself is a nice place. The only negative thing is that there's no air con. So, if you're sensitive to heat and traveling in July, you might want to... More

Good location (several metro stations nearby) in a nice-looking neighborhood. There's a post office right next door and a big shopping center within walking distance. The breakfast included in the price was excellent. The room was clean, and the bathroom was quite spacious. However, the mattresses were very hard. The free WiFi connection was poor, it did not function properly... More

The good things: clean, safe hotel and area. Convenient to 6 metro line which connects well to most other lines. Reasonably priced restaurants nearby. Walkable to Rue Moufftard. Good price, includes breakfast. Was able to connect to wifi in my 6th floor room. Not so good: a single room is only slightly larger than the bed. I was able to... More

I stayed in this hotel during a city trip in Paris and I enjoyed my staying a lot. The location is very good, in a safe residential area but with restaurants and bars nearby; the metro is at few minutes walking. The hotel rooms are modern and clean, with all facilities inside. The breakfast is good and various. The staff... More

THe location of hotel is totally off form where actual paris is... One has to take a metro from a station first which is quite a walking distance. Most of the things in the night would shut down here. The good thing about the hotel is it's breakfast. It had variety of things ranging from breads, croissants, yogurts, coffee/tea, scrambled...
