Single traveler, so I had a twin bed in a clean cozy room. Street is quiet! Breakfast good. Cereal , hot scrambled eggs, sliced ham and cheese, yogurt, juices, coffees and hot chocolate. Great start for the day. Eating area had it's own dedicated room, good sized and outside eating court as well. I am not all about the food, but... More

Stayed at the hotel Magendie in early June. The rooms are quite small - but I believe it is generally like that in Paris + they were cleaned well. The location is quite good - walking distance from 2 metro stops / lines. We even walked to the city center - it was far but had loads of time so... More

This hotel was ideally located for the metro, that is the best thing one could say. 1. The staff were rude and dismissive. 2. A twin room consisted of two beds side by side with not a gap between them. Very small. 3. No services apart from breakfast, therefore not good for families. No coffee machine, no kettle, a cold... We stayed there in October 2012 for 5 nights. The hotel was cheap so we got what we pay for . When we arrived we got a great news that we have breakfast included that we didnt pay for :) the room was very basic but very clean. The daily room service was very good. They always topped up the... More

In Paris it's really hard to find a good place to stay without breaking the bank.. Stayed here for two nights with two colleagues, and it was fine for the €95 per night we paid... But don't expect much, especially from a standard single room... Just expect to lay your head on an uncomfortable foam pillow which you will struggle... More

We spent 7 days in Paris in this great hotel. 3 blocks from the Metro and in a very nice and quiet place. Very clean and the people at the front desk were very nice and kind and helped us to find all the places we want to go. Great choice! I would chose this hotel again.

Rooms little small then one can imagine and without AC and fan , not suitable to stay in peak summer months June and july. If you r a solo traveller then keep one thing in mind that u only need a hotel to take rest, sleep and get ready next morning and start you travelling again taking healthy breakfast. Simple... More

This is a very simple, clean hotel and the price is quite fair (130 euro/night with breakfast). The room was very simple, no airconditioning, although this wasn't a problem when we were there coz it was still cool at that time. The breakfast area is cafeteria style. The downside of this hotel is that it is quite a walk going... More

This hotel does what it says on the packet but nothing more than that 100 euros a night for one person in Paris 13 for a standard room. One pillow, No chair to sit on and no table to work on, just a bit of triangular wood stuck in a corner, not big enough for a laptop and not comfortable... More

Context: I'm a speaker and travel to different countries to deliver talks then visit colleagues. I stayed here after speaking in Paris at a web conference because I wanted to be near a colleague in the 13th. We went out sightseeing every day. The good: Clean, firm mattress. Good hot water and pressure. Useful room layout with nice closets, a... More
