Very nice place for only 2 nights not more. I used this hotel for only business reason while visiting the Paris Expo which is just 3km from the hotel. Very nice welcome from the reception and all of them speak English and very helpful. The rooms typical French style: very small! The bathroom designed for only small “size” people! My... More

The Hotel Ibis Alesia is down in the 14e, so not the typical place tourists are looking. It is, however, clean and quiet and in a nice neighborhood close to several restaurants and the Metro. There is also a grocery store on the same street as well as a pharmacy and a several "quick marts" near by. You get the... More

After reading reviews I started to panic but I have to say this hotel is actually decent. Yes the room is tiny yes so is the shower (as a plus size woman I had a battle every day getting in and out) but the bed is so comfy I've never slept that good. The rooms have central heating too which... More

A small hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Small but still practical rooms with a good bed. Good breakfast. Nice surroundings with good restaurants and a good choice of buses as well as metro and walking distance to different interesting areas of Paris.

Ibis Styles Alesia is a good choice if you are looking for an economical stay in a safe part of Paris. I would describe this stay as economical , clean and located close to Alesia metro. Location : Located at Montparnesse, Alesia metro is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Restaurants are plenty around the hotel, with one of... More

Ibis Styles are all similar. Excellent room facilities and with the wonderful new Ibis bed - blissful! Very good buffet breakfast and super value for money as we booked an advance pay deal. The hotel is located about 8 minutes walk from 2 x Metro stations and has an underground car park at very reasonable rates. Easy to find when... More

Staying in Montparnasse

Neighborhood Profile
Montparnasse
The namesake tower of Montparnasse dominates over the landscape but the fun part is the throbbing life that goes on below it. Bright lights, busy cinemas, brasseries and diners encompass hidden museums and parks to entertain the masses. Long avenues lead away from the tower to take you to unsuspecting places and historical monuments and treasures. In between lie adorable ivy-covered houses with beams and small gardens to match. Just a short metro ride away from the center of Paris this neighborhood has something for every hour of the day.
