The rooms are old and worn out. Washroom was very dirty and we literally tried avoiding the washroom till the end. However, the basic amenities were there. The hotel is very near to Ménilmontant metro station on M2. However, given the highly efficient network of paris transportation, all the places are close to any of the metro station. Pros: Price... The Hotel was clean and the staff friendly. I was there with a friend for Holidays. Maybe not in the center of the city but located near metro stations, something which makes it easy to go in many places in the city.

i am a frequent traveller and I booked this hotel looking at the reviews and the pictures. Hotel staff is rude and mannerless. There is no lift as we needed this for our kid's stroller. Whenever we asked them anything, they were least bothered to respond. Location and cleanliness is average. Wifi is good.

This is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. It's so run down, it beggars belief. If you get a bargain price, it's because they're going to stick you in one of their cheapest, most awful, broken down rooms you've ever seen. Expect torn ugly wallpaper, patchy half painted ceilings, with dark spots and dirty marks all over... More

I chose Hotel Les Chansonniers because of its close proximity to Pere LaChaise Cemetery, a fascinating place I came to explore. From the moment I arrived, Alfreida in reception was fantastic. She made arrangements for me to visit the Edith Piaf Museum around the corner - so memorable. During my four days, she and others helped me with my map... More

Cheap booking through trivago, yes needs decorating but for the money for short stay very good. Staff friendly, helpful and spoke English. Great food locally too and metro just across the road. Would use this hotel again.

Tiny room, cheap, free and fast wifi, close to the metro. Really small bathroom that doesn't have a proper door and it smelled bad so we had to keep the window open. The staff didn't spoke english very well and we had a certain difficulty to get a taxi to go to the airport in the early hours of the... More
